I really need a whole playlist of these "4 Hours to Build" videos. I'm a new dev and I can't get enough. I've watched so many and subbed because of them.
there's a playlist here: lwj.dev/wdc there's also a previous iteration of this concept where we did the challenges remotely: lwj.dev/4d1a thanks so much!
@@learnwithjason Oh no 😓 it seems like I watched them all...Thanks for sending the list! I'm glad I haven't missed any. I'm a Jr Dev and still learning and I love your videos! Wish I could participate!
Wow! Been following the Web dev challenge, the show is getting great and great. This one had me laugh all through. Keep up Jason together with your team!
Ahhhh favorite episode so far! Met Anthony in LA and the platform he's a part of, Brilliant Black Minds def helped me get my first dev role. Go Anthony!🙌🏾
Made sure to cop another deck of cards too! Thanks so much for being willing to do this, was an amazing experience and was paying attention, entrepreneur to entrepreneur.
So grateful I found this channel a couple of weeks ago lol. It's so entertaining yet full of insights and inspiration! Especially for beginner like me. And just like I commented in the other video, this channel is a masterpiece and I feel like I just want to gatekeep this channel 😂 Thank you, Json.🎉
This was an excellent episode! I love this series! I'm new to software engineering, I'm learning JavaScript now (it's kicking my arse lol) but this show is so inspirational. I also appreciate the diversity of competitors. To see people in this field that look like you is so inspiring! Thank you, Jason!
Hey man this is awesome. I found your channel a few months ago, and since then have binged all of your content. Will say as a programmar your content is very inspirational. Would love to connect.
One of the funniest moments I’ve seen on this channel 😂 it went from cool viscode theme to everyone saying holup what! But honestly bro I used to raw dog it and just use default dark theme but I have been using Dracula now. There’s is a viscode plugin that switches light and dark themes if you like switching it up
I really like how Ximena came out and said I don’t now how to do this and Jason was receptive to it. I feel like a lot of people is afraid to say I don’t know.
if there was one thing I wish I could instantly help everyone understand, it's that none of us knows everything - asking for help is a sign of strength 💜
Hello Jason, I started watching this Web Dev series a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say, every video leaves me amazed. They’re incredibly inspiring and packed with knowledge, but I also find them a bit overwhelming. As a beginner programmer, I feel lost, but I really want to learn and explore some of the tools you use. They seem to make programming so much easier, more efficient, and faster compared to writing everything manually. I’d love to get your advice on where and how to start learning these tools. I’m currently in my second year of Computer Science in college and have just completed a full course in Java, so I have a solid programming foundation (I’m thinking of starting to learn Python). Note : if you are a programmer and you have any advice or suggestions I would love to hear from you too. Any guidance would mean a lot. thank you (:
there aren't any real shortcuts I've found. keep building things, stay curious and try to make sure you're understanding WHY in addition to HOW, and with time and repeated practice it will get less overwhelming 💜
the format of the show doesn't really support tool head-to-heads like that, but an episode where we challenge folks to use _only_ a code assistant to try and build something could be a fun time 👀
we had a hackathon with folks doing the challenge at the same time - definitely some lessons learned about how to set up a venue for parallel events here 😅 thank you!
Bro proved hes been a dev for 20+ years
Props to ya
Fasho!
this is the only youtube series i will tune in religiously the day it’s posted
i say as i comment a day late
lol the sentiment is appreciated nonetheless 💜

“VISS CODE”?! Jordan!!! 😂😂😂
My favorite part 😂! Could you imagine if this has happened at the cookout??
Seriously though, Jordan was the best advisor for us.
@ the “jithub” response literally made me LOL.
And yes yes he is the GOAT
I STAND BY IT 😂

I want one of those limited-edition decks! 😅
I was rolling when Anthony took off the hat and an instant blur-field surrounded his head! 🤭😂👍🏾
weirdest thing is that happened in real life 😆
Don't know what y'all are talking about, I have a completely normal head 😂
Loving this series man! really really funny
thanks so much!
I'd love to see an episode of this with people using Cursor composer agents versus using Copilot with VS Code.
the format of the show doesn't really support tool head-to-heads like that, but an episode where we challenge folks to use _only_ a code assistant to try and build something could be a fun time 👀
