Grrrreat vid!! I think my Druid 1.0 is pretty sweet as far as looks. Needless to say, they are pretty worthless these days. It's hanging on the wall of my house.
There is a cosmetic version you can get for putting on your current weapon. But yeah the 1.0 epics are rather pointless on live other than giving access to getting the 1.5 and 2.0 epics to avoid the pre quests.
I've thought about playing everquest again after 20 years of being away. I hope I can recover my old account but we'll see. I played a sk and had so much fun and got the epic too. Just wondered how difficult it is now in 2024 to get it.
SHould be fairly easy to get. It might be worth starting from zero but I would recommend a TLP like Teek for that. It has an unique ruleset that is pretty fun.
19:09 - I'm looking all over Rathe Mountains for Rharzar. I'm on the server Vox (latest expansion) and Rathe Mountains looks different. It's full of Frogloks. I've only seen one drake so far. EDIT*** I found Rharzar! He spawns at the 9'o'clock position in Rathe Mountains (not the 6-o'clock position listed in Allakhazam. Loc 1628, 1828, 11.07 In the surrounding area of the tower guarded by trolls, and on the map it's right next to the Merchants Guzzla, Ukla, and Chizzlik. in the middle-left of the zone. (on the old Rathe Mountain Maps, it's listed as "area 10") I killed Blackwing 4 times, a giant skeleton that randomly spawned, and after killing everything that moved in the area, I was finally able to see Rharzar Spawn. He's really small! *it took about an hour*

Epic mobs can have a 12 hour respawn depending on the mob.
