    While it may not be the "trend" for most teens or youth groups, preaching the Gospel most certainly is for me and my youth group. Of course, not so that we look good. I don't have one person outside of my youth group and the family of Christ that thinks I'm cool for street witnessing.
    And a most everything we know in how to properly give the Gospel is from taking courses from The Way of the Master. You guys are great! Keep doing what you're doing. God bless!

    On thier FB page they put out a question asking us - their 'fans" / "friends" what we thought about possibly having Tony and Chad taking the Ambassador's Adacemy "on the road." I said YES YES! To that. I'm not far from CA, I'm in NV, but it would still be awesome to have them travel here, and travel all over the US. Anyone else hear anything about that?

    That question with the guy in the car was me. I actually currently live in Hoover, Alabama and I was parked in my car just for your information. I am from around the country, before Alabama I was in Los Angeles area.
    Anyway great answer to my question! Makes a lot of sense. But ys go on youtube and look up street preaching, open air preaching, street evangelism. It is kind of popular, and some of the methods used are kind of far out.

      unfortunately, he moved to a different state and double unfortunately, by the witness of a number of people, he joined a church that is very cultish and Tony has blocked a lot of old friends out of his life, especially those who are just simply trying to talk to him about whats going on. I don't know the full story but I know people who used to go to said church and they've written about it at length. But one quick thing, is the pastor had a sermon where he was angry in tone, demanding he has the right to kiss other woman, including the mens wives.... I heard the clips, and I was told Tony was agreeing with it and defended it. It was very disturbing....sounds unreal but its true.

    @radicalbacon probably because it hurts their pride to feel inferior. In such debates one is usually trying to out do the other in the "who's smarter than who" game.
    Also, from experience, I have found we try to answer because when the subject arises we are interssted and start thinking out loud, this is a great way to come to some conclusions or at least a starting point by discussion. Had this recently on the Amalakites subject

  • @Futureplanet

    @polaroidsky All your questions are irrelevant. We all have different morals because we have different upbringings with different families, schools, friends, etc. This is why we have liberals and conservatives, those that support slavery and those that oppose it, why some people supported the Iraq war and millions protested against it. This is fundamental moral and social behaviour which is elementary to understand if you are able to open your mind enough to escape the religious dogma.

  • @GuillemotWatcher

    @biglion2317
    No, righteousness did not beget morality, it's just the observance of the law.
    Morality is actually conformity to the rules of right conduct.
    Laws determine if actions are moral & righteous.
    So the law makers are the abiters of what is morally correct.
    But what is moral in one culture may be morally unacceptable in another.
    To state that someone who does not share your moral beliefs has no morals is simply wrong, they just have different morals.

  • @polaroidsky

    @Futureplanet : Do you know what kind slavery you are talking about? Do you think that economic slavery is bad? What kind of war don't you support? Do you believe that sending murderers to the electric chair is unjust?

  • @biglion2317

    Morality come from righteousness, righteousness comes from obeying the Law, and the law must have a Creator. If an atheist says "There is no God," then we can detest to believe that there is a moral Law, because you, as the atheist just told me there is no God. By doing so, you erase the Law giver, therefore erasing all trace of morality and law. Unrighteousness comes from disobeying the moral law which you, as the atheist, have no belief in.
    Hope that clears some things up.

    great show! my question: i have difficulty sometimes witnessing to an atheist because i am not as intellectual as chad, and i feel like i lose ground because they then dont respect me. ( considering what i notice w/ them , is they emulate intellegence and your job title/money you earn ,with respect). how can i get them to get past the fact im a waitress and they are a physician or sucessful business owner? ps i live in a very secular materialistic area in ny!

    possibly they disliked simply because they didn't simply didn't approve of how the hosts answered questions and such, and instead of going through the potential onslaught of people who can't take opposing views and seem to have their heads up their asses( of which you know there are many on all sides) by citing a specific reason for why they didn't like the video, they simply clicked on dislike, showing a level of tact and class that the vast majority of youtubers don't often show

    @pugandspencer1 Don't try to play their game. Don't be fake and try to come across as an academic. It is not by our persuasive arguments but by demonstrating the Spirit of God in our lives. Show love, show care, show self control, patience, righteous charector. Pray for them, pray with them, challenge their faith or lack of, if God is there He can be found, knowing that those who seek will find. If their hearts are hardened only the Spirit can break down those walls.

    @djcomfort20 The chinese civilisation with flourished for thousands of years before the bible, existed with rules against crimes and had morals, etc. Where did they get them from without the bible? Morals are inate and refined by being learned. We get them from our parents, peers, authorities, government, media, society, teachers, etc. To suggest that you wouldn't know right from wrong without the 10 commandments is an insult to yourself and everyone else. It is silly and simplistic.

  • @stephjh2006
    @stephjh2006 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    @LogicalThinker667 If they are truly good they will be fine, but is anyone good? It is for our sins that we are seperated from God, each person has the opportunity to turn to God even if they have not heard a Christian preach. The Jews never heard about Jesus untill AD 30 -33 yet those who died prior to this were saved.
    You also need to remember that other gods we hear of offer no hope either, you have to be good enough to be with those gods, if you didn't measure up you perrish.
