@Gamecubesupreme well, my coach said that when dan isn't playing in many tournaments, he can train and get more mentally rested than lcw.... that's why he always win the big ones, because he is fitter than anyone...
@bOmb821 that's also why lee yongbo is not satisfied with the chinese team, because the chinese team always enters tournaments in china's badminton league... which also the tournament that lin dan always enters...
nah actually i was wrong -they fixed the mistake by giving lee a point on 6:47 for the previous point like what jingyaoqu had said---thats y lin dan 's point stayed the same on 6:47
@bOmb821 Actually, I have watched every game they play. In all the matches that Lee Chong Wei won, Lin Dan was either not at 100% or not playing seriously due to the tournament not being an important one. And if you can't link me to an article that has Lin Dan's coach saying what you claim he said, I'm not going to take your comment seriously at all.
@bOmb821 almost impossible... there are 3 players that is very talented but not going to professionals... the reason is because those 3 are short... i'm also short... so sad... one of the 3 beaten lee c w in normal malaysian national league... but still, he didn't got extracted into the pro's because his height is 163cm... i'm 161cm... :(
@bOmb821 Oh gee, if it's so obvious that playing in more tournaments is a bad thing, why doesn't Lee chong Wei play in less tournaments? Because he knows he will get rusty if he decrease the number of tournaments he participates in. Not everyone can be like Lin Dan where they only play the big tournaments and still win. Even players like Federer and Nadal play as many tournaments as possible because real tournament is better than any practice they can have.
@philip0908 badminton was actually first played in ancient times by the Greeks and Egyptians. tennis was invented in 1873 in england...so Tennis would actually be badmintons very very far off great great great second cousin or something. but heres the thing, both sports are majestic and beautiful, what is the need for one to be considered better than the other? That argument is completely meaningless.
i love watching these two play, even though i'm a doubles player, but this woman announcer is starting to get to me, shes everywhere! and this guy they paired her with is even worse....
@bOmb821 Your argument makes no sense. At the level that they're playing, playing in tournaments is far more valuable than just practicing by themselves. They have no problem, stamina wise, to play in multiple tournaments every year. Thus Lin Dan is actually giving Lee Chong Wei an advantage by not playing in as many tournaments every year, as he is allowing Lee Chong Wei to get more experience with every tournament Lee Chong Wei plays. Your analogy was just wrong on so many levels.
I'm surprised you commented this in 2012. It's undeniable, he was arrogant back then, early years of his badminton career, but that was long ago. Do your research, or at least confirm the facts before you posted your stupid comment. He respects LCW as much as LCW respects him, and in fact I bet you don't even know they are a close friends off the court.
@bOmb821 First of all, please show me the citation where Lin Dan's coach said that. I would like to read it myself instead of you telling me what he said. Secondly, you did not address anything I raised in my comment. You danced around it and ultimately showed me you have no idea what you're talking about.
both of them are good players..
they always make history.
i love them both.
It was not even a close match. LCW got slaughtered.
Lin Dan just proves again and again who the best badminton player ever is.
what I love here is the quality of the video
@Gamecubesupreme well, my coach said that when dan isn't playing in many tournaments, he can train and get more mentally rested than lcw.... that's why he always win the big ones, because he is fitter than anyone...
i love u Lin Dan!!!! Hope to meet u in person...
No, that point was for the rally LCW won at 6:23. He was 9-12 at that time. After LD's winning smash at 6:47 rally, he went from 12 to 13.
@bOmb821 that's also why lee yongbo is not satisfied with the chinese team, because the chinese team always enters tournaments in china's badminton league... which also the tournament that lin dan always enters...

LCW gain points from LD mistakes
LCW unfortunately was wearing the sarong t-shirt or else he could have easily whitewashed Lin Dan.

The male coordinator is so annoying!!
Lin Dan has a bad attitude...he is too arrogant...
