I agree it is confusing; however, what I do which helps tremendously is while watching / pausing the you tube, I make notes and use a piece of paper with instructions drawing rough lines (dotted lines=score; solid line=cut). That way when it comes to making the card, I only have to review the you tube clip a few times. Michael and Jill (I think I got their names correct) did an excellent job with the explanation of measurements and assembly. I wish other cards were explained as thoroughly :)
Thank you, I am a beginner, your tutorial was great, I used the same colors. but different stamps/embellishments. Do you have measurements, for a 5.5 x 4.25? is that possible?
If you have a scoring board, it would be easier to just scor at 2 3/4", 5 1/2" and 8 1/4". Then cut half way up in 1st and 3rd fold from lower edge of one and half way down on diagonal edge of 1st and 3rd fold. Much easier than all of that measuring.
It's all AMAZING while telling measurements please mention the specif sheet and measurement like from right to left or up to down that's confusing . Rest is FAb ! this video is worth watching :-* :-*
i skip the measurement part actually :P . it was too long although the steps to do it is so easy ! anyway, it is such a nice cascade card. but if you (or me or anyone) can create folded base for the middle part of the cascade card, it then can be turned into a beautiful and decorative remote/pensil/hairbrush holder , etc. thank you for sharing this vid (:
I am poor in measurements. But in fact I think this card is easy. You just made it complicated! To make things simple, you should have made the vertical lines (they are just half ways down from the bottom and 1/4 way from each way) before cutting the triangles out. Besides, you shouldn't have used such an awkward measurement: 8-1/2 inches! Just use 8 inches would make things simpler!
+Sarah101 As requested, I made a video on simple calculations for all measurements. Please go to my channel and look into the "card" playlist. The link has been deleted a couple of times.

Cool
where can I find score board?
+Rei Jiel Ilidan Any craft store should have one. Ours is Martha Stewart brand. Stampin' Up sells one too.
+Rei Jiel Ilidan We got ours at Michaels (a craft store in the US). But Amazon probably sells them
Umm, where do you write the stuff that you want to? I mean, I have a LOT to write, but where do I?
P.S. Nice card. ;)
Yeah u r absolutely right!! I also have many things to write! Where should i write my wishes and all and all???
maybe on the sides, which get folded. I made one, and wrote stuff there, well it looked decemt. :) Shamima Akhter
+Bozo thanks! ;)
Nice card but the tutorial may have been a bit easier to follow with only one person doing it and from straight on, not sideways. TFS
Nice greeting cards
You two are so cute! I hope you're still disagreeing with each other as nicely now as you did then!

Fold AGAINST the score line.
You made a video that's super hard to follow.. It's so complicated and having two people making the same card is confusing with all the measurements..
