- Drove up to Portsmouth, NH to film Eric's extremely well mannered MK6. It's not often you meet someone who spends 25hrs shaving their rear bumper, or personally machines parts like seat brackets. This car truly represents a built not bought mentality. I first saw this car at the Collective meet hosted by BeastCoast well over a year ago, and while Eric and I talked of shooting we unfortunately couldn't find the time last year to make it happen.
This was one of those shoots where I was shaking with excitement simply because the car has no bad side, or fenders to avoid, curb rash etc. It's as close to perfect as someone can get, and the best part is he actually drives it. The car community needs more supportive and positive people like Eric. He has helped numerous friends of mine build their dream cars, and for that I felt compelled to film, and interview him and his 2012 MK6.
Big thanks to Eric for putting up with me for the day, we started early and finished late, but it was well worth it. Look for more of his interview/sound bites, and car, in an upcoming video releasing at the end of the year about the current state of the "car scene".
