This month in the Choctaw calendar is Cooking month, but we are also catching up on the other summer months--Toffa hashi alhíha-we were unable to produce. After reading the descriptions of Kafi hashi (July), Takkon hashi (August), and Hopóni hashi (September) we share a little about the ongoing Modern Mississippi Choctaw dictionary project.

Why aren't Oklahoma and Mississippi working together on our language program?

there's a difference between the two imagine Mississippi as if you're talking slang and Oklahoma as if you're talking through a dictionary
