23:16 Instead of setting his opponent to three, Trump uses burn on the board on the off chance that the opponent has a TWELVE damage combo that he has just neglected to use until this point. Instead, the opponent plays a removal spell, which is much easier/morecommon/more obvious than a 12 damage combo, putting Trump in a horrible position.
I love Trump, but nowadays i think he looks for the least obvious play and goes for that to be cute rather than going for the play that is most likely to win. Countering a 1 in a million play, but opening yourself up to a 1 in a hundred play is not being a better player- it's significantly worse. Thinking outside the box is good, but not when it means ignoring the plethora of threats inside the box.
+gammafighter that removal spell isn't common either ( mulch ) your point is correct though the shredder flame lance was the obvious correct play , the druid would had to trade and kill the shredder twice

Trump a rule of thumb is that if you use hero power in arena you lose. Therefore frost giant is a HORRIBLE pick
+TurnsOutItsPrettyGood Kripperino At the same time, using it twice over the course of the game isn't that unlikely, in which case it becomes an ironbark without taunt, which is okay. Use it some more and it's cheaper.
Not ideal, but probably the best he had in the draft.
Compared to hobgoblin with one one attack minion, and spell bender, which is USUALLY just a worse counter spell? Easy choice.
+TurnsOutItsPrettyGood Kripperino No Frost Giant is decent/good. The rule of thumb is hero powering EARLY means you lose. Frost Giant is a late game card
+TurnsOutItsPrettyGood Kripperino It's not always bad to Hero Power, especially as a Mage or Paladin or Rouge. Of course, it's not the best VERY early on, but post turn 5~6, it's fine to be playing for Value if you know your deck can handle it.

Lol the Rouge had to work for the 4 mana board clear with the Deadly Poison + Orge Magi + Blade Flurry combo, while Trump just plays Flamestrike...

This arena run seems insane ..
This deck is soooo amazing. Its a bit on the «too slow» side, but its relatively well balanced. There are about no «bad» cards in it, besides forgotten torch ans gorilla maybe...
I actually think Forgotten is still good in this deck; some slow down mechanics like Water Elemental and such, and it isn't such a terrible card even without drawing the second Torch
Robert Gaherty its too slowish, but i agree its not terrible. Its just not on par with the rest of the deck which is PURE INSANITY.

Last druid is a possible sniper. Always clearing the minions at the end before the kraken, and waiting for the stream-game lag explains the long turns. For shame.
You should use PERT to estimate your wins: (BestCase + WorstCase + (MostLikelyCase * 4)) / 6

I would picked the Ice barrier over the other picks at 3:05 , 3 mana slot and 5 mana saturated , your deck is on the slow side so a little bit of health is good , and you if you're smart about it you can bluff your opponent into thinking it's a mirror entity
3:46 arcane explosion might be the better pick there since you don't need a 2 drop or a mediocre 4 drop into your deck ,

Leonardo Freitas slow deck needs health and aoe so it doesn't get run over by faster decks the other choices aren't that good ,
Saddem Gargouri You can't expect slow or fast decks in arena where 90% of the serious decks are midrange and tempo based, Trump's being one of them. Your mindset is kind of stuck in constructed.
Leonardo Freitas He had already good late game , 2 ethereal conjurer , That's a slower deck . That kind of deck can be get run over by a faster deck ( whatever it's nature , face tempo , midrange )
With it's picks you can afford to pick health instead of mediocre cards . Mindlessly copying arena tier lists won't get you to 12 wins
Saddem Gargouri No you can't, arena's rule of thumb is health and armor are meaningless, board presence is everything, it doesn't matter if your deck is slower if you have tempo you don't care about health. Copying arena tier lists won't give you 12 wins but picking universally bad cards will do even worse for you.

1:02 how do you take torch over ooze here? Torch is bottom tier removal by default. Unless you need to remove something right away,ooze is almost always better. Ooze also has utility against weapon classes.

***** Ok, let me break this down for you. for a 2 mana minion, you can get a 3/2, ooze is a slightly above average example. For a 2 mana spell, you can get frost bolt which deals 3 and freezes. Both frostbolt and ooze are on about the same level but since they both deal 3, ooze should be slightly better as fast removal is not important in arena since arena is generally a value game and it has other uses. Torch is 3 mana deal 3 damage and doesn't freeze which makes it immediately worse than torch. The 3 mana 6 dmg spell is added to your deck which means it is not "one of those value cards," If you assume you draw the second torch, that's a total of 9 damage for 6 mana which is the same as frostbolt and fireball. Therefore, before you draw the second torch, the average damage per mana dealt from this single card slot is 1 compared to 1.5 with frostbolt.

It blows my mind how much people like to criticize everything even though ultimately they don't matter at all .. Yes trump made a few small misplays but who doesn't seriously. You can't seriously comment he's getting worse at arena I mean, that doesn't really happen..

Trump is so bad at arena now, if that druid wasn't terrible and missed hero power twice and played terribly, trump would have lost by not playing his shredder over the torch. Also playing the 2/3 over the 3/2 is still dumb because the shredder play on 4 had so much value killing the 2/3s because trump didn't have a 3/2 to trade into it.
