Great video very inspirational. Im about to start as plumber apprentice on the 26th. Im happy you touched up on the politic side of things. I hate working with men who disrespect others but im hopeful this journey will help navigate me through those toubled waters.

It was changeling for me, too. I have been in the trade for 15 years, and due politics/racism, it stunted my growth for some time, but I persevered through the nonsense and I finally got my plumbing license and now im studying for my med gas license than eventually getting my masters
That what’s up bro happy to hear you didn’t let nothing stop you. It’s a tough game but it’s all apart of our process. Congrats on moving forward bro. Be the change you want to see 💯 💯
Honestly if there’s a lot more people like you out there to tag along with it’ll be great well said also It gave me more motivation and eyesight into my future I’m 25 and honestly I have the will to learn and I’m very great with my hands and just want to be able to do the same for someone else 💯

Few months ago I commented on one of your videos about going into electrical. Now I decided to go into plumbing lol my pre-apprenticeship program starts next Monday 🙌🏿
I joined the operators union 1.5 years ago and still havent been called to work. they tell me just keep waiting for a call. My plumber buddy said i should just come join the plumbers union and i might do so
I would definitely chat with the reps and ask around because it seems it’s slowing down everywhere at the moment for all tradespeople. Best of luck though with whatever you decide 💯
