The child NEGLECT charge is just because "kids are in the same house as drugs". That's just automatic in that state. It doesn't mean anyone did anything to the kids.
The kids had complained of being hungry and wearing the same clothes for days at a time .
The kids clothes were smelly and they were not clean.
A pre school teacher at the church had said concerns had been raised by several other people that there were concerns and there was evidence of addiction and an strange relationship with the other couple that were living there.
