Wow! What an awesome, cinematic view of Bakersfield. I haven’t lived in Bakersfield for 30 years now, but this definitely gives me a different perspective. Very skillful composition. I’m loving the repetitive, geometric patterns that you captured by flying over buildings, fields, parks, and freeways. Very cool! Looking forward to seeing more work!
Cristian, well done. I watched several drone shoots of different cities and yours stood out as the best. Your drone camera moves were silky and unlike others missed the harsh camera moves. Your transitions were matched seamlessly to your choice of music. I feel like I have a real sense of Bakersfield and was given a beautiful guided tour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’m on the UK visited Bake’o on and off since 1977 haven’t been back for a while now but I love the place and it’s people on my bucket list to revisit make it my 9 th time ❤
I've lived in CA my whole life and have only driven past Bakersfield by way of the freeway. You hear things and then you see things. This video captures a beautiful and hidden secret. Bakersfield is more beautiful than the images that have been created from heresy and the media and others . Im not naive and know every city has its warts and bad parts, but if you attempted to capture the best of this city, you did. I am impressed. Cool town from what you showed me.

just came across this, grew up in Bkrsfld BHS 65, haven't been there in years. Brought back memories, mother used to take us to Hart Park, drop us off with air matresses or inner tubes and several hours later pick us up at the river and 24th street. And the Padre Hotel, touched a nerve as we had a friend who lived there and we would sneak up and play on the roof. Too, seems like more sports stars from tennis, baseball, racing etc all came from Bkrsfld. In Hi Sch, about half the national records in track & field were held by locals, was amazing! I would get lost there now.
@@Savvce Should also have mentioned as others did, outstanding content, thanks. Oddly, tho have not seen, the house we grew up in was one of those bulldozed along 24th street. Folks lived there 47 yrs. Oh well😎

The summers here last from May to November 6 months of misery the only thing going for this town for now is that it's cheaper than most cities in California that's it. This is a deep red hillbilly town that has not left the 20th century. There is nothing to do or be excited about when talking about this farm town you're better off going elsewhere if you have a family or have dreams or aspirations. There is nothing American dream about this place.

Too, at the Nile Theatre in mid 50's brother and I saw King Kong ran backwards!!!!
