Good job. Tough calling and getting good video of coyote hunts. Which bullet in the .204? I made a video on .204 and do they splash. shot a cow femur bone and then into a squash and it seems unlikely that they splash. I watched that kill shot a bunch of times and didn’t notice any bitting, just looked like 4 legs in the air. this year I am using a tactacam and I am starting to see that the problem is mostly me when they don’t fall over. Do your own testing and see if you can get a .204 to splash. it’s possible but under 200 i don’t think it will. not with the 32 or 40 vmax anyway. keep up the great work.🤟
@@FORDEVR thanks! I think given the right circumstances they will splash. He’s shooting the factory 32g vmax and this is the first time I’ve seen something like this.
I know the feeling of knocking the hell out of one.... and not recovering it. For me, its rough! We had the SAME EXACT thing happen a few weeks ago.... it looked identical.... Dustin White
You say I’m gonna hold 4 feet left and 4 feet high😂 what you need it’s a rangefinder that can give you the shooting solution and a scope. You can dial the elevation turret such as the Vortex razor 4000
@@Pew_pewchronicles yeah Charlie doesn’t own one of those but I do. The fact that he was even shooting at them was kinda a joke. Lead in the air, hope in the heart.
So was the shot somewhat questionable, yes. That said, if we’re missing coyotes by 8 feet at that range we should stop what we’re doing. He’s also shooting a .204 which has a highly frangible bullet. So if he were to miss, the likelihood of the bullet ricocheting was small. To each their own.
@CallIntheCountry ok Chris kyle.. lol you can make all the excuses you want but my 8 year old will tell you you shouldn't shoot at somthing with a backstop you aren't willing to kill.. SMH re take hunter safety bro🤦♂️
Perfect exmple, watch night crews new video, the thermal actually picks up the bullet. You can see after it rips through that coyote it is going anywhere but straight and with alot of force left.. anything can happen. I'm really glad yall got lucky. All I'm saying is why risk putting a bad name on the rest of us? For a video?? @CallIntheCountry
Atta boy Ross!! We've been waiting on some new content....

@DustinTorry7 thanks Dustin! It’s tough setting time aside to edit these days but I’ll have some more this year for you.
Btw what camera do use? Pretty sweet

That is awesome looking country. What state are you in?
@@Pro-tip We do have some good looking country, I agree. We’re in AZ.

second shot had a Bull for your backstop. not cool.
@@montanaelkwhisperer1744 I’ll admit reviewing the video it was a borderline shot but I wouldn’t say back stop.

Looks like you’re calling some heavily hunted country. Those coyotes are pretty call shy.
@@victorroman7545 yeah they are hit or miss year to year. Some years they have ran the call over some they have acted like this.
That was almost an expensive coyote, shooting at it with a cow behind it. Not smart.
