I remember when my Grandma and Granddad bought a GameCube one year for all of us grandkids to play on, and during the summers when all of us grandkids would stay with them, my favorite cousin and I would wait til everyone was asleep then sneak onto the gamecube. This was his favorite game. What I would give to relive those days.
I played this game when it came out and loved it. Movie games usually suck, but this one was a class act. It even had slightly altered version of the movie's events in it. With it's own locations and enemies that actually felt good in the Shrek universe. How sad I was when Lil Red wasn't in the movie. She fit in so damn well it was bizarre.
John NoNameGibbon this game even had 4 player co-op, I might not enjoy this game as much if I played it today but ill always remember the legendary times playing this with my sisters in co-op when I was 9.
This game used to scare me to death when I was little. The music/ambience for the Spooky Forest level and the Prison Break level was very eerie and disturbing, not to mention the witch that constantly flies and laughs above you, the giant rats that chase you in hordes, the creepy motionless faces on the trees, the giant spiders that come out of a giant egg sack later in the game, the pointless evil laugh that you hear every time you die. This game honestly used to make me afraid to go to sleep.

Shrek's Swamp was such a soothing level. I loved the music at the beginning and the end. My most favorite thing to do was Fiona's Hero Time. When I first got the game I was the only one could beat it out of my siblings.

This game brings so many memories back for me. I was never allowed to play video games growing up, but my cousin had a PS2 so I used to watch her play this game when I was little. My cousin passed away last year from a really rare form of breast cancer at age 24. This reminds me of her, in a good way.

anyone remember the part where you get lodged inside the ACTUAL GAMECUBE? it was so strange and when this happened (like 14 yrs ago) - it's a dimly lit interior of the gamecube that you are confined in as shrek... i had to restart my gamecube because there was no way out. looking for footage of this mystery and can't find any. please advise
