Dude you're underrated af! All your covers feel like a breath of fresh air, it feels good to be listening to something new in tracks we're familiar with
Just listening to this makes me feel like playing Freezeman's stage again! The original brings forth a feeling of some slight caution, but this? Just listening to this makes me feel like Freezeman's level isn't a place housing a difficult boss, it makes me feel like I'm in some sort of icy wonderland blanketed with snow, with those polar bear minibosses there to greet me! I love it! xD
Thank you! Guess I filled a niche people didn't know they needed :D Junk Man's theme is miserable, though. Will be relieved when I finally finish that one.
Beautiful. Astonishing. I've made a few famitracker remixes that sounded professional, but I've never heard any remix that just fitted. Specifically FreezeMan. Some people go to their own way and add things here and there, like you did with this and CloudMan, but holy crap I'm surprised how accurate the whole thing was. I'm currently working on my own album of every single mega man classic song with VRC6 (only for myself to enjoy ofc). Seeing someone that can get those super fast background notes in the beginning accurate is amazing and inspiring. Kudos to you and I'm actually gonna subscribe. Best FreezeMan remix to date.
That kind of surprised me while I was making this one too, funny enough. All the other remixes of this one tend to put their own unique spin on them (which is cool, no doubt), or when they cover it in 2a03, the song loses a lot of details. Still good, but I think Freeze suffers from a downgrade more than most. I can't take credit for the fast background notes! Like I mentioned in the description, I heavily referenced (read: copied) the video link there. I do all of my covers by ear, and being blunt, that was not something I have the expertise to transcribe the way it should sound. Appreciate the sub! I'd love to listen to your module some day if you're willing; it'd be cool to listen to your spin on some tracks.
@@magnetdood9738 Alrighty. Once I'm done I'll post to this thread, if I remember. It is probably gonna take a few months at the least. Also I never read the video description, sorry about that. But it's still amazing how cool it sounded.
I do, eventually. Junk Man's theme is kind of a pain in the ass to do by ear, and life's been getting in the way. I'm a little prone to extended Famitracker breaks, haha. I'll see what I can do to get it out to you guys!
@@magnetdood9738 Well bro, regardless of how long it may take, I’m looking forward to getting to hear them! I wouldn’t worry about trying to rush it out the door either. That can sometimes affect the end result. Work at your own pace and do what you gotta do!
If Megaman Maker used the VRC6 sound chip instead of that boring sound chip they used Edit: Can't believe I said this 10 months ago lmao, but yeah the current sound chip is kinda whiny but still good, just wanted to point this out

This is probably the best NES style take on Freeze Man I've heard online. Great job!

Sorry bud, 2A03 is the default NES sound chip and it is not going anywhere lol
Better than MMM's version lmao.
