Handpan, Tabla and Oud - an improvised music jam

This is a live recording of our first improvised jam together. It is always very interesting to meet and play with new musicians for the first time. It is a joyful sensation to slowly and gently start communicating through an instrument in the realm of sounds and music. Step by step we get to know each other and learn our musical languages. It becomes like a dance, sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow, and eventually you merge into a sensation of complete oneness. Sometimes the tones blend perfectly well and sometimes disharmonies emerge and that is the beauty of jamming together.
On Handpan and Native flutes we have Mikael Mendoza Naselius. On tabla we have Gabriele Sunbright. On Oud we have Lewin Spetze. The music was recorded with an H6.
