  • Matthew LeBlanc made his A Class debut at the Motoplayground Race at Ponca City and finished second in 250 Pro Am and first in Open Pro Sport, so of course he had to strap a Vurb GoPro on him.

Star Yamahas amateur program is on par with Geico Honda’s - err I guess should say old geico Honda - looks to be in great hands yet again with Leblanc coming up, Thrasher and Frye putting some top 10 motos in their pocket in the pros. I think Thrasher is gonna do work in a year or two ,prob sooner , in the 250 class.

Wasn’t even talking about or saying anything about Jett. Jett is still in B class homie, Leblanc is an A rider. Jett took 3rd in 250 B, ya he won Schoolboy which wasn’t even stacked at Ponca this year - see me when Max Vohland is racing in Schoolboy 2, assuming he will be as well as moving up to the B class. And Leblanc won Open Pro Sport & went 1,2 in 250 Pro AM. So what you’re saying doesn’t even make sense, they’re not even in the same class rn. I think Jett is still one of the fastest amateurs in the nation but it’s gonna take another year of injury free racing for him to get back to that dominating level like he was at as a mini rider. And dude, he’s spent so much time off the bike not racing the last few years , while everyone else was. That’s hurting him big time right now. If you get 3rd in 250 B you sure as hell ain’t winning Open Pro Sport I’m sorry. Big bikes even everyone out, and you’re seeing that now with Jett, and Ryder on one now, who didn’t do all that great either. If Jett beats Vohland straight up at races this year, which I think is entirely possible, then let’s talk. But I digress. Get your facts straight and do your hw.

@@pronoob2857 bro you cant compare lap times in different classes when there’s hundreds of bikes racing all day/weekend making the track change with each lap and race, creating new lines, taking away old ones that may or may not have been faster, etc. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying Jett isn’t fast or would even get smoked in a stacked A class, not even close, quite the opposite really. I think he would do really well actually. I love watching Jett ride and I still think he’s one of fastest kids like I said before. But Everything changes when you move up to A class, if you don’t get a good start it’s hard as fuck to make up time and catch up and just pass in general; in B class you can get away that shit. Lap times in different motos and classes isnt even a valid argument with the tracks constantly changing throughout the day from moto to moto - not saying this is you but in general, if you can’t recognize and realize that then you don’t have any race IQ or racing experience and don’t understand amateur racing. All I’m saying is that I disagree with the dude that said Jett would smoke A class and Leblanc right now. Give Jett another year of growing and getting more comfortable on the big bike then ya, I wouldn’t doubt at all that he wins titles in A class or B class, and he probably will win at Lorettas in B class next year. Just don’t think it’s possible right now given how much more seat time everyone else got while he was hurt the last few years. That shit does actually matter when you move up to a big bike. Not so much on a 85/supermini
