i can’t help but notice the difference in kitty and minho’s dream. minhos is purely sexual. meanwhile kittys is intimidate and deep and centered around a simple kiss. at first i thought it was because netflix is always iffy about showing wlw intimate scenes but no,, minho and kittys relationship / attraction IS purely surface level. he saw her from behind at a party and that’s what made him see her as hot. meanwhile kitty and yuris relationship is this mutual deep emotional affection that two young girls share, it’s beautiful

It annoys me how people talk about Kitty’s feelings for Yuri being “random”‘and “not making sense” but that’s exactly what it’s like when you first realise you like girls. The first time I had a crush on a girl it came out of nowhere too and surprised me just like it surprised Kitty. It’s random, but it does make sense.
I get why people like Minho. His actor is very charming and handsome. I think all of the three possible love interests for Kitty (Dae, Yuri, Minho) are good. Yuri's relationship with Juliana is also very sweet. So if Kitty and Yuri don't end up together, that's fine. But... I hope that people don't dismiss Yuri as a love interest for Kitty. I hope that people understand why it would be amazing for the lead girl to end up with another girl. I 100% fully agree with you, but the problem is that ppl are already treating Kitty’s feelings like they are just a phase or not important bc they ship Kitty with Minho, and the thing is is that Yuri makes Kitty happy and actually likes her. It’s hilarious how people are saying this was forced but these 2 had the best chemistry and tension between any of the characters… it’s obvious they’re endgame, season 2 will have kitty and Minho begin dating in LA but once they return to school in Korea, Yuri and Kitty will ramp up their romance and realize it’s more than just a crush.
Tbh i feel like they won't come back dating only because Kitty is aware that she likes Yuri. But then again it could go the other way and Kitty throws herself at minho to try to get over Yuri, but i doubt that will happen since Kitty is aware her feelings arent going away anytime soon (since thats why she just broke up with dae so it seems kinda counterintuitive to then go date another person). Too those who say Yuri doesn't feel anything for Kitty, I'm sorry but did you miss where she's still a the airport after being reunited with her girlfriend and makes a call to her mom so Kitty can remain in school? I'm not going to ship it unless Yuri is single because that would be wrong, but I do see the potential. I like this element that's been introduced to Kitty's character. I think situations change tbh and feelings can change. I think it’s already been hinted at that Juliana is a little jealous/uncomfortable with Yuri and Kitty’s friendship and if Kitty doesn’t distance herself from Yuri in S2, it’s maybe not gonna be the happiest Juliana is. And until now they’ve only been in a secret relationship, the circumstances of being out can be a lot of pressure too

HE LITERALLY FELL IN LOVE WITHOUT KNOWING THAT YURI LIKED GIRLS, HE SHOWED MORE JEALOUSY OF JULIANA THAN THOSE WHO WERE WITH DAE.
And they way Dae described Kitty as the love of his life because when she was searching to kiss someone else, it ripped his heart to pieces, and two minutes after Kitty felt the same listening to Yuri saying ILY to Juliana, it's a big sign here.

And before she boarded the flight, she was literally saying to Yuri that she’s the one that made her learn real love. And when Dae was attacking Minho thinking it was him that she had feelings for, Kitty clearly said it wasn’t him who she liked. And then before that, when Dae was describing how he felt when Kitty said she wanted to kiss someone else at the club and he said “it felt like my stomach was being ripped out” Kitty was thinking the exact same thing when Yuri was on the phone with Julianna. And there’s so many signs Yuri felt the same even if it was just subconsciously, starting with when Kitty was talking to that guy in the club and she came over to stop them kissing. I know he was a tool, and it could’ve just been friendly behaviour, but I think she didn’t want it to happen anyways. And then when she stole the necklace Kitty sent back to Dae, it was so freaking obvious. I mean come on, she was jealous of Kitty and Dae. She was definitely not jealous of Dae being with Kitty, it was the other way around. Obviously she couldn’t admit it to herself because she had a whole ass girlfriend but it was clearly obvious. I mean she’s gay. Why would she be jealous of Kitty flirting with her fake ex-boyfriend. She wanted her. There’s no other reason. And it’s normal I guess to lose feelings for someone you’re with when you don’t talk for months. I can’t blame her. I think Julianna kind of knows already about Yuri’s interest in Kitty, even if Yuri doesn’t know it herself yet. I think in season 2, if Kitty manages to come back to KISS, then I think something will happen. Maybe at the start of the next season, Julianna and Yuri will just try and stay together, with Yuri denying her feelings. And giving Kitty the opportunity to try things out with Minho since he said he has feelings for her, even if she never shared some for him in that way. But I really do think, that would be a low blow on Dae. But later on in the season, Julianna gets frustrated at Yuri for not seeing how she’s got strong feelings for Kitty so she breaks up with her. And things don’t work out with Minho and Kitty because Kitty has very strong feelings for Yuri too so she ends things with Minho. Not sure if Yuri and Kitty would end up together immediately, but I do think they would have a good talk about their feelings that are clearly there. And yeah, that’s my prediction for season 2.

But you can tell that Kitty's feelings for Yuri are strong, however, Yuri seems to love Juliana a lot. Self-discovery takes time, and Kitty will need that time to find out who she really loves. For me, if she ends up with Yuri, Dae or Minho, I'll be happy.

I didn't expect they'll go in this route for a cliche genre like this one, so i'm glad they intented to appear as not "just a crush" since dae just shared the "feeling of getting ur stomach ripped out" and described it as love, so that solidified that it wasn't just a crush for kitty to yuri ultimately, and the obvious choice for the writer and target audience of this genre Kitty will most likely end up with Minho, but if the writer goes for the risky route of potentially having this show cancelled but at the same time reinvent this genre then Kitty has to end up with Yuri. so here's what gonna happen in potential season 2; Either #1 kitty gets to explore her feelings for yuri but ultimately ends up with minho OR #2 Kitty with get together with minho to get over her feelings on Yuri

I wouldn't say Minho feelings for her are out of nowhere, they're pretty obvious the whole season, but SHE never showed any interest, her feelings for him would be out of nowhere. Yes, she could fall for him, but if they come back to her magically having feelings for him it would be random. I feel if we go back to where we left of, the first thing she has to do is deal with her feelings for Yuri, pushing a relationship with him rn would be a wrong move. I don't hate him and I wouldn't hate for her to be endgame with him, and I say this as a lesbian, bi people exist, but pushing the sapphic storyline of the MAIN character aside quickly, would be a mistake, I hope they make it justice.

To be honest I want season 2 of xo kitty just to be about kitty’s sexuality, only because she has now realised that she has feelings for Yuri, as of watching the season up until the last episode kitty was not aware min ho even liked her- one of which should be covered until towards the end of season 2 and 3 for me. The feelings that kitty has must be played in chronological order. Kitty likes/ liked Dae . Kitty now likes/ crushes on Yuri. And min ho confirmed that he likes kitty. As expected since kitty is the main character it should be played out if two characters likes each other back. As much as everyone can root for min ho and a kitty relationship I believe it won’t be played out until there’s a finale season wrapping up her love interest. Because of main character love interests I assume that season 2 will be about kitty exploring her sexuality more, maybe experience it with Yuri- that is if Yuri does like her back. I believe that’s how it will pan out for now.
I love the exploration of Kitty's sexuality in the series. I also think she and Yuri are cute... if she doesn't have her gf(juliana) who she went as far to throwing off her family's reputation, to get her back in KISS. The experience of having your first conscious crush on a girl, especially while technically dating a boy can be overwhelming. I say 'conscious' as in a patriarchal society women are forced to only see men as romantic potentials, so when it clicks especially alongside a gay awakening, it feels bizarre- especially in a teenager's life. I hope to see the show introducing more sapphic characters in future seasons, and one of them eventually with Kitty. Her romance with Dae is currently too stale to continue; her crush on Yuri seems one-sided and even if there were hints, I ship Yuri more with Juliana as I'd rarely see a blasian lesbian couple; her and minho seems great and imo has chemistry but the likeliness of lasting in the long run is testing considering his friendship with Dae and Q. Lastly I just hope as a seasian lesbian, Netflix does not pull the plug in this. Also, Minho is truly not that bad of a person. Sure, he bickered with Kitty and gave her a hard time, but he never actually did anything. He helped her with Korean cooking and then ran to her rescue when her hanbok caught on fire, that is not the actions of a bad person.

I love Y and K together, but I prefer Juliana and Yuri. I absolutely love them together. Their chemistry was gold and I loved that Yuri chose to stay with Juliana even if there were pressures surrounding them. As a person growing up in a homophobic society, I loved that they stayed together till the end. I could see myself in Kitty too, when I first started catching feeling for girls. But now I relate more to Yuri.
I hope to see how the writers will play out Kitty's feelings in the coming seasons.

I'm not going to ship it unless Yuri is single because that would be wrong, but I do see the potential. I like this element that's been introduced to Kitty's character. Sexuality is so strange, especially when you find yourself crushing on someone of the same-sex after thinking you were straight your whole life. I want to see it further explored if it gets a season 2.
I think situations change tbh and feelings can change. I think it’s already been hinted at that Juliana is a little jealous/uncomfortable with Yuri and Kitty’s friendship and if Kitty doesn’t distance herself from Yuri in S2, it’s maybe not gonna be the happiest Juliana is.
And until now they’ve only been in a secret relationship, the circumstances of being out can be a lot of pressure too

And they way Dae described Kitty as the love of his life because when she was searching to kiss someone else, it ripped his heart to pieces, and two minutes after Kitty felt the same listening to Yuri saying ILY to Juliana, it's a big sign here.

And before she boarded the flight, she was literally saying to Yuri that she’s the one that made her learn real love. And when Dae was attacking Minho thinking it was him that she had feelings for, Kitty clearly said it wasn’t him who she liked. And then before that, when Dae was describing how he felt when Kitty said she wanted to kiss someone else at the club and he said “it felt like my stomach was being ripped out” Kitty was thinking the exact same thing when Yuri was on the phone with Julianna.
And there’s so many signs Yuri felt the same even if it was just subconsciously, starting with when Kitty was talking to that guy in the club and she came over to stop them kissing. I know he was a tool, and it could’ve just been friendly behaviour, but I think she didn’t want it to happen anyways. And then when she stole the necklace Kitty sent back to Dae, it was so freaking obvious. I mean come on, she was jealous of Kitty and Dae. She was definitely not jealous of Dae being with Kitty, it was the other way around. Obviously she couldn’t admit it to herself because she had a whole ass girlfriend but it was clearly obvious. I mean she’s gay. Why would she be jealous of Kitty flirting with her fake ex-boyfriend. She wanted her. There’s no other reason.
And it’s normal I guess to lose feelings for someone you’re with when you don’t talk for months. I can’t blame her. I think Julianna kind of knows already about Yuri’s interest in Kitty, even if Yuri doesn’t know it herself yet. I think in season 2, if Kitty manages to come back to KISS, then I think something will happen. Maybe at the start of the next season, Julianna and Yuri will just try and stay together, with Yuri denying her feelings. And giving Kitty the opportunity to try things out with Minho since he said he has feelings for her, even if she never shared some for him in that way. But I really do think, that would be a low blow on Dae.
But later on in the season, Julianna gets frustrated at Yuri for not seeing how she’s got strong feelings for Kitty so she breaks up with her. And things don’t work out with Minho and Kitty because Kitty has very strong feelings for Yuri too so she ends things with Minho. Not sure if Yuri and Kitty would end up together immediately, but I do think they would have a good talk about their feelings that are clearly there. And yeah, that’s my prediction for season 2.

I didn't expect they'll go in this route for a cliche genre like this one, so i'm glad they intented to appear as not "just a crush" since dae just shared the "feeling of getting ur stomach ripped out" and described it as love, so that solidified that it wasn't just a crush for kitty to yuri
ultimately, and the obvious choice for the writer and target audience of this genre Kitty will most likely end up with Minho, but if the writer goes for the risky route of potentially having this show cancelled but at the same time reinvent this genre then Kitty has to end up with Yuri.

And also, because instead of saying that she doesn't like Kitty, she said 'she's 100% straight', maybe Yuri does have feelings for Kitty, but the fact that she thinks Kitty is straight (Kitty could never confess) and also maybe she doesn't want to hurt Juliana, that's why she doesn't want to accept it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Yuri suspects Kitty feels that way about her but waits for Kitty to say or do something about it.

I wouldn't say Minho feelings for her are out of nowhere, they're pretty obvious the whole season, but SHE never showed any interest, her feelings for him would be out of nowhere. Yes, she could fall for him, but if they come back to her magically having feelings for him it would be random. I feel if we go back to where we left of, the first thing she has to do is deal with her feelings for Yuri, pushing a relationship with him rn would be a wrong move. I don't hate him and I wouldn't hate for her to be endgame with him, and I say this as a lesbian, bi people exist, but pushing the sapphic storyline of the MAIN character aside quickly, would be a mistake, I hope they make it justice.

To be honest I want season 2 of xo kitty just to be about kitty’s sexuality, only because she has now realised that she has feelings for Yuri, as of watching the season up until the last episode kitty was not aware min ho even liked her- one of which should be covered until towards the end of season 2 and 3 for me. The feelings that kitty has must be played in chronological order.

And min ho confirmed that he likes kitty.
As expected since kitty is the main character it should be played out if two characters likes each other back. As much as everyone can root for min ho and a kitty relationship I believe it won’t be played out until there’s a finale season wrapping up her love interest. Because of main character love interests I assume that season 2 will be about kitty exploring her sexuality more, maybe experience it with Yuri- that is if Yuri does like her back. I believe that’s how it will pan out for now.
But Yuri and Julianna are officially back together. Maybe that will change?
I love the exploration of Kitty's sexuality in the series. I also think she and Yuri are cute... if she doesn't have her gf(juliana) who she went as far to throwing off her family's reputation, to get her back in KISS. The experience of having your first conscious crush on a girl, especially while technically dating a boy can be overwhelming. I say 'conscious' as in a patriarchal society women are forced to only see men as romantic potentials, so when it clicks especially alongside a gay awakening, it feels bizarre- especially in a teenager's life.
I hope to see the show introducing more sapphic characters in future seasons, and one of them eventually with Kitty. Her romance with Dae is currently too stale to continue; her crush on Yuri seems one-sided and even if there were hints, I ship Yuri more with Juliana as I'd rarely see a blasian lesbian couple; her and minho seems great and imo has chemistry but the likeliness of lasting in the long run is testing considering his friendship with Dae and Q. Lastly I just hope as a seasian lesbian, Netflix does not pull the plug in this. Please.
edit to add on: idk why people are saying the romance are rushed? there were hints of Kitty with both Minho and Yuri from the beginning. The comments on the later is just homophobic. Crushes doesn't have to always to be explanatory! Morever I'm still open to yurikitty, and what I would consider 'rush' is if they're suddenly together next season. Also the 'best friend' comments can be saved for their mothers lol.
