They must maintain an economy where you are forced to grind yourself to death or buy their in game money and thats why they keep removing parts of the game we all enjoy like capturing(and owning!!) wild horses for example.
I think we should have a role that we can tame and sell or keep horses. Also have ranches that we can brand horses and have live stock and complete various tasks

Hey, thanks for the comment. I bought the Red Arabian in the very begining, from my memory you can purchase it with 10 gold bar or something like that as a new player. I had him for so long until i was able to make more money both in game money and gold bars to buy better horses like Norfolk Roadster or Kladruber. The black Arabian is also good, has better states than the red one, i think. I bought the black one later as well
The online game depends on an economy. In order to help keep that economy balanced, it is in everyone's best interest to not allow this type of $$ farming in the online version. I was glad to learn that the story mode does allow the taming of wild horses.
@Corey G, Bro'... they could allow us to keep the tamed horse for ourselves or sell it for a symbolic amount like $1 each... it's not the balancing - or not - of the in-game economy... it's just the so-called "R* logic" that's hard to understand since their first GTA release way back in the early 2000s...
I’m with you I tamed a horse to have something better than the starting horse I see I can’t keep it cause I would rather not spend actual money trying to get a better hose it would take forever to do enough bounty’s to get a good horse. But I guess it is what it is.
So you can get the brush in your Catalogue under horse Care. The catalogue is the little book your character has, if you are playing on PC, hold J. :) Hope it helps
I suppose that if your horse dies then you can maybe tame one and use it to ride around until your horse is back but idk it seems so stupid to put in all that work to break it but then you cant keep it
In the first game as John. I broke so many wild horses and kept the very best. Enough to start a literal ranch. Then this happens and now I have to buy stable horses to own? Mad, very mad.
this doesnt make any sense to me considering in GTAV you can steal cars and add them to your garage. but we cant capture wild horses in RDRO and keep them.
Yeah! I was so happy when i caught my first horse in single play. Just the connection of approach and call it attention then calm it, pat it before get on it and broke it. You always have to look at the bar but you want to see how beautiful the horse is without spook it then it bolts.
Indeed very disappointing and sad the fact we can't keep a tamed wild horses for ourselves or for sales purposes... Have you tried to go with the tamed horse to the stable and see if you can assign him/her a stall..??.. I was hoping that will be your next move in the video before finishing as a final try to keep the horse... I've tried to tame two of them but with no success I'm not that good at braking the wild horses so I never got the chance to go to the stable with one myself... Someone in a random posse told me we could sell them to the fence after we completed some story missions but I never got that far either I'm barely at lvl 10-11 just new in RDO transitioning from GTA Online...
I’ve tried all sorts of ways to sell them cuz I thought it would be a good way to make money. But I don’t think we can in the online version of the game. But the game itself is still enjoyable and I like riding on horse back in games when I’m not riding one irl XD
@@NaughtyKitty that's the main thing that attracted me to RDO, riding horses and a virtual wild west world... but I'm extremely disappointed we can't keep the horses we tame from the wilderness nor the ones we can steal from the NPCs around us... To me this is counterintuitive and it spoils the gameplay experience not to mention it's not realistic nor authentic with the times that are presented to us as part of that world... this is quite frustrating to me which is why I can barely find the drive to log in and keep playing... By comparison I'm sorry to say it but GTA Online (and story mode) is much better considering that except premium cars, any regular car we can steal, keep, use, customize or sell or even destroy as we see fit...in RDO horses are like the cars the vehicles of those days and more...why we can't keep them, save them, own them it's beyond my abilities to comprehend... it's just the weird "R* logic"... Like why give us something more to enjoy when we can just learn to accept it as it is and as such not keep wild horses or the ones we could steal... heck even in Sims 3 one can tame and keep a wild horse, but not in RDO... It's sad and disappointing...

I lived for years in Utah state and there are still hordes of wild horses roaming the waste grasslands in the north of the state... winter is especially harsh at times as such often weaker wild horses are having hard time to keep up with the stonger horses of the heard migrating from one point to the other...as such local farmers often see and take in care and tame such wild horses left a bit behind... and not only that is legal but the state law encourages adopting such wild horses as long as the farm in question can provide food and shelter for the horses... So it's done in real life yet can't be done in RDO in a virtual environment...how messed up is that... I'll stop ranting about it but as I've said I'm pretty frustrated about this topic with RDO and R*...
In gta online you can store street cars as long as they are not in the sport class or something but here? You can't stable even a donkey, i've been playing rdr2 for a while and kept hearing bad things about rdo but never realized how bad it was until i jumped in, this portion of the game was dead on arrival no doubt
I hate that they limit games like this that have so much potential, don't get me wrong the game is great but the first Red Dead was better. Better game progression better guns. People like me don't have time to spend 8 hours a day playing video games to be able to catch a horse and tame it works better for me than having to progress. Takes way too much time to make money no matter what profession you choose and takes way too much time to rank up.
Yeah sadly… but I heard the single player version is pretty good and very enjoyable journey! I’m thinking of buying it and give it a try and you can catch wild horses in there :)
I haven’t tried to tame the white horse in online version yet. You can certainly tame it in the single player game. Maybe you aren’t suppose to tame it in the online version somehow they changed it?
Plus I don’t think even after yo I tame it you can do anything with it. Because after you reload the game you will lose it. It’s different from the single player
@@NaughtyKitty I'm just thinking storing them on the wild horse and my owned horse then travelling back to say the butcher on the wild horse while whistling for my owned horse to follow then selling both horse loads, I know I could get a hunting wagon but I'm not at the level yet
@@007ptb007 I think that can be done, as long as you are on that wild horse the whole time. However, it might only apply to carcasses tho, because you can remove them from the wild horse. I dont think you can remove animal skin from the wile horse.

Took me a while to catch one znd and then it was for nothing and the game won't let you shoot Scrawny Nag. This horse is suffering, so i won't invest in the games gold. I will continue to be a horse thief.

Glad that help :) Yeah, catching and taming horses was one of the reason I liked rdr2. But very unfortunately that rdo doesn't offer that feature.

I cant even brush my own horse in RDR2. I looked at purchasing brushes at stables but cant find any

But yeah I think there were women Kasinos where you can sell horses but you can’t do it in free roam

Yeah I know. But you can save up to get a mustang. They are not experience and pretty strong horses
