Hi.
I used to have the same problem.
This is what works for me. I use my half shoulder measurement as my arm hole measurement. Example my half shoulder is 8 so I use 8.5inches for my arm hole. The o.5 is for joining. Another important tip is how you cut your sleeve. Check out sleeve tutorials and see. Hope it helps 🙂
