      Thank you for all the work you do. Almost every intellectual that I have drawn wisdom from has been in your work; Terrence Mckenna, Randall Carlson, and Jordan Peterson are just a few. Because of creative individuals like yourself, I have managed to find my faith in life. Psilocybin mushrooms have also helped in this process as well.

      Psychedlics is a form of pharmakia; Greek word φαρμακεία, transliterated pharmakeia, which means 'sorcery' and is prohibited in the bible.
      The apostle Paul lists sorcery as one of many sinful practices that mark the lives of unbelievers: “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife . . . and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God” (Galatians 5:19-21).
      Interestingly, the New Testament Greek word translated “sorcery” is pharmakeia, which is the source of our English word pharmacy. In Paul’s day, the word primarily meant “dealing in poison” or “drug use” and was applied to divination and spell-casting because sorcerers often used drugs along with their incantations and amulets to conjure occult power.

    Inspiring, I’m on my way to being a philosophical artist in my own form of the universe myself, I’m only 18 and dropped out of college, but ever since I got lost I was able to figure out why I got lost in the first place, I don’t need hope I just need Courage Focus and Discipline, and with those I can open portals of creation if I make it a practice and make it my new subconscious desires.

    Brian’s comments about the past catastrophes bring to mind the research of Jason Breshears with the ArchaiX channel. He is a chronologist who has taken all of the myths and documentation all over the world and reconciled all of the calendars to show when these catastrophes occurred. His research is mind blowing!

And then the next day i saw a post on fb about John Marco Allegro's book the sacred mushroom and the cross, which led me to TH-cam to suggest your videos.

    The old testament in Greek
    "λάβε σεννὰν πολλὴν καὶ καλάμου ἀρωματικοῦ πέσσον καὶ κιννάμωμον πολὺν, χιλιάδα δισχίλια. κασίας δὲ χιλίους πέντε καὶ τριακοσίους καὶ πεντήκοντα, καὶ οἰνώσεως κυκεῶνος ἓν."

    The Tao that can be spoken of is not the eternal Tao.
    The name that can be named is not the eternal name.
    The nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth.
    The named is the mother of ten thousand things.
    Ever desireless, one can see the mystery.
    Ever desiring, one can see the manifestations.
    These two spring from the same source but differ in name;
    this appears as darkness.
    Darkness within darkness.
    The gate to all mystery.

    Q: Brian, what does Honey taste like? A: Brian: 'Err, I don't know but I will spend 20 years studying it and how others make it and maybe find out.

    • @heyokaspirit
      @heyokaspirit ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You're missing Brian's point entirely. To answer your question, Brian would simply taste the honey. He fully recognizes that no amount of "studying" the taste of honey could inform him about the taste of honey. But if Brian wondered if honey was a component of an ancient ritual, he might indeed spend decades studying the evidence.

      I totally agree MrbBuy. Brian is fearful, as he should be. These are not party drugs but spiritual medicines. They need to be approached with great respect, so I understand Brian's reticence... but you have to have faith and surrender. If he does, he may find what he's looking for. He needs to understand that it's not the psychedelic from which these insights and appreciation of beauty and this world comes from, but from God - the drug simply makes thin the separation.
