Awesome video! I’m visiting SF for the first time in a few weeks and as a geologist, I’m doing my research before I get there. Thanks for your videos, and I plan to watch them all. Love your little field assistant 🥰👌
Thanks for this video; I appreciate the basic explanation of some key geological features in SF, in terms simple enough for untrained folks like myself to understand.
Wife is like “what is this TH-cam with our baby all over these rocks?? I thought if I went to the office for the day you were taking her to the zoo!” 😂😂
Very educational video, thanks for the information. 60 like ............ the windy parts of videos, I remove the sound, then add narration to get the message clarified.
@@PoopyArchaeology You're welcome. I like what you're doing. Let me know if I can be of further help. By the way, I think most of the serp comes from the over-riding plate, not the downgoing plate.

Hi AJ! Hi Wes!
Ayoo hey Carolyn!

Thanks for the tip
sepentinite is not originally mafic oceanic crust, it is originally ultramafic mantle. Prolly from overriding plate, not scraped off subducting plate.
Thank you for this clarification!
