A few people have been wondering why I've been playing open (left hand lead) lately. At first, the goal for me was to even fatigue on both sides, but over time, I have made it a bit of a challenge to get more strength on my non dominant hand in general. I still have a lot of work to do in order to get the full power and nuance on my left side to match my right, but I think it's slowly coming. Thanks for your comments!
Maybe you should watch Todd Sucherman? He plays that way and is a master at it. Good luck in your endeavors with Twain and say hello to Mutt for me if you ever get the chance. Toodles 👋🇺🇸

Im a drummer in a punk rock band and as a huge music fan in general, all i can say is this is amazing . Just playing thigh and constant is sometimes harder tha play fast or whatever. And the violons is amazing !!! Great job ! And the kit sounds really well !!!
Your energy and smile are radiant and infectious 😍 you're so humble considering your position!! And you play so well, it's obvious why they picked you!! Shania may front the band (of course, she's Shania) but you're the heart of the band back there and we appreciate you!!

One of my most favourite band. The music is awesome, the vocals unbelievable, the instrumentalists super excellent. Simply amazing. Especially love the drumming and the view from this angle. A show in itself!! You make it great. I watch this song in particular over and over. Never get tired of it.

Sad how great E was, and is now no longer playing big gigs, but appears to have a whole new exciting career direction since 2022. Somehow E, Derek Frank, Cory Churko, and Joshua Gooch need to get on the stage together again.The chemistry was magic.

Unless she did something with the editing, being able to hear Shania singing and the other instruments means it’s not being played live. You should not be able to hear that clearly on stage. Concert speakers are called line-array speakers and can only be heard in the direction they’re facing.

The speed/timing in the intro between hi-hat and china is pure class. I counted 7 times you switched between playing open and closed in a 4 minute song. That's some serious mental flossing.
My God, what a great view of your playing...your timing is better than any metronome or click-trak I've ever seen and/or heard...But your playing has so much soul...On top of that, the exuberance you display is so infectious...
What a wonderful idea to have the cameras on you I love watching you play. Drummers are close to my heart my Dad was a pro drummer and my late brother also and I have a son that plays just about every instrument. Your such a talent ❤
