I miss some of this era (peak Conan/Stewart/Colbert ...and Six Feet Under 😍), but I'll never miss watching everyone act like Two and a Half Men was a good show. What a time to be alive!
Gosh watching part 1 and 2 in 2024 is so sad to see so many great people who aren’t here with us anymore, Andre Braugner, Matthew Perry, Leslie Jordan, the list goes on :(
You know, with all these 'high profile' and 'talented' 'Actors', Conan was the only person that was funny and didn't break character in his bits.. Almost everyone else just seemed awkward, uncomfortable, and corny.. Except for Craig Fergusen, he's my 2nd favorite
Way to totally disrespect a legend like Bob Newhart kid. Conan is great but you die hard Coco fanboys who have such tunnel vision you think he's the only funny American ever need to really broaden your sense of humour.
@@mrquirky3626 Ok please calm yourself, sir. First of all, I don't know if you got the memo, but we all have rights to our own opinions, just like you have yours which I respect. I'm sorry to have NOT mentioned this fine print: But my opinions do not include hosts like Bob Newhart and Johnny Carson for obvious reasons like they were both before my time period, and any one else around that era, so anything I say about them would not be fair nor accurate. Like I thought that was self explanatory...
I like it when Louis J wins we get to see him do his job and do his speech at the same time (this is going to be a long comment again) again too many RIPs to mention most recently Matthew Perry and Andre Braugher who uses a Tivo these days, we use DVRs and PVRs no annoying popping noises Funny thing this was the same year I watched 90210G for the first time.....and it's practically family entertainment compared to the stuff they air today man do they even do television hall of fame inductions anymore? 18:21 sigh...you couldn't even save the Melrose Place reboot 19:53 yeah that's a novelty we don't have anymore either sigh and not long after this aired Farrah was diagnosed with the cancer that eventually killed her calm down Colbert you'll get yours and then some I can't believe High School Music was an emmy nominee it's ironic mrs farnsworth's final tv appearance was at the 2002 primetime emmy awards Before anyone asks Steve Irwin died less than three weeks after the Emmys aired that's why he's not in the In Memoriam seeing Helen Mirren win an emmy for playing Elizabeth the First...and then 6 months later she wins an Oscar for playing Elizabeth II oh hush you don't hear Hugh Jackman complaining eh Jerry Seinfeld chose to stay off of tv after the show ended, so why does Kramer and George have to suffer (newman got more acting jobs than they did) Smith would end up becoming the first show to get cancelled that season Scrubs was up for Best Comedy? (hey I remember watching this show live but I don't remember that)

Conan was so happy for Greg Daniels.
I miss some of this era (peak Conan/Stewart/Colbert ...and Six Feet Under 😍), but I'll never miss watching everyone act like Two and a Half Men was a good show. What a time to be alive!

And don’t forget James Gandolfini, Cloris Leachman and Ray Liotta as well.
Man, this season of 24 really was worth all these Emmys

13:41 Steve Carell getting robbed - can’t believe he never won an Emmy for playing Michael Scott

And Steve Carrell gets hosed for the first of many times.

Funny thing this was the same year I watched 90210G for the first time.....and it's practically family entertainment compared to the stuff they air today
man do they even do television hall of fame inductions anymore?
18:21 sigh...you couldn't even save the Melrose Place reboot
19:53 yeah that's a novelty we don't have anymore either
sigh and not long after this aired Farrah was diagnosed with the cancer that eventually killed her
calm down Colbert you'll get yours and then some
I can't believe High School Music was an emmy nominee
it's ironic mrs farnsworth's final tv appearance was at the 2002 primetime emmy awards
Before anyone asks Steve Irwin died less than three weeks after the Emmys aired that's why he's not in the In Memoriam
seeing Helen Mirren win an emmy for playing Elizabeth the First...and then 6 months later she wins an Oscar for playing Elizabeth II
oh hush you don't hear Hugh Jackman complaining
eh Jerry Seinfeld chose to stay off of tv after the show ended, so why does Kramer and George have to suffer (newman got more acting jobs than they did)
Smith would end up becoming the first show to get cancelled that season
Scrubs was up for Best Comedy? (hey I remember watching this show live but I don't remember that)
Nowadays emmy shows are boring
