This has to be Hinako’s xv theme. This was her first appearance. If Kasumi ever gets added, she can have the women’s 96 theme. I just want this theme remixed so bad in XV, since SNK can’t used the arranged soundtrack anymore due to copyright problems with Ponycanyon, their former CD distributor.

As of December 1, 2016, the old SNK officially returned. The staff who worked on the old school Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting games worked on KOFXIV, so it's safe to say that the old SNK is here to stay.
I think at least a few of the NG Music Performance Group still work for SNK. Plus, good music didn't stop with KOF 2000. Neo Geo Battle Coliseum (2004) has incredible tunes as well.

Guys, just because hinako is half Russian, it does not make her not japanese (as she's half Russian and half japanese) and yuri is half japanese and half amercian (takuma is japanese whilst her mother is amercian)

What? This was never team Japan. Yes, they’re all Japanese, but this is still team women. There has never been a single woman in team Japan. I think you meant to say, this is the first time where all the members of team women are Japanese.
This is the one song that brings joyful memories of the game and the team I played with. It's because of this game that I took a liking to the new participants from the Women's team, Hinako & Kasumi. Their voices unintentionally harmonized themselves to this theme and now I love listening to it!!!

I thought they were rehired by SNK Playmore. SNK Playmore and the current SNK were basically the same but with a different name
