Thanks to Universal for inviting us down and providing express passes so we could smash out as many rides during our one day visit as we possibly could!
There’s nothing better mate than seeing people enjoying Florida my happy place in this world Itching to get back so glad you’ve had a blast mate catch up when vale are back on 😉
I absolutely love universal parks, the stores are amazing and some of the rides are stunning. I’ve done HHN twice and it’s incredible (even though I struggle to see at them), can’t wait to go back and stay onsite and do epic universe too when it opens
HHN is just peak... Epic Universe is something they really need after visiting, they need that big step forward and hopefully away from screen heavy rides
Great video again mate, we went for our honeymoon almost 10 years ago, it hasn't changed much to be fair. I would love to go back again but agree screen based rides are not the way forward. I agree with you totally on that, but SEAN is definitely not the way to spell it !! haha
Hi Sean, I have been watching your videos for quite a while now. I just want to say, keep doing what you're doing. I am a disabled creative/performer, but I am also a big theme park enthusiast.
Express is a way better system than Disney does because the high prices mean it is a true premium experience but also keeps it from being oversold thus making the experience better for everyone else. Universal has also never really had a problem with disability access or now in the case of Disney, just kicking everyone off disability access in order to sell more genie plus. That being said I have at slower times been able to do most of the major rides across both universal parks due to the higher utilization of single rider lines. I can only imagine Disney doesn't have many due to incentive to get everyone to buy upcharges as well as queue utilization for said upcharges.
My favorite universal studios ride in Florida was jaws back to the future and kongfrontation. Best rides in the park before they were replaced but i think skull island. King Kong ride ? 🙂🙂👍👍 Cool video
That’s the first I’ve heard about Rip Ride Rocket being removed, I mean it is pretty naff and I can’t stand it but it’s still a very popular ride at the park !!! And jammy git first getting free tickets
It’s a real shame 😢 but it’s far from naff it was great fun especially with the music just bopping along. I’ve done work with Universal Pictures for agesss so this first time with the theme park side of things was great!
I've put a poll on my channel to ask my viewers about screen based rides regarding Universal Studios UK. Personally I am not a fan, I don't want to put things on my face, but lets see what others think.
Hollywood is the shortest version of the mummy orlando has more scenes including the fake ending plus hollywood and orlando has a little model of the ride it replaced in the artifact room. Orlando its kong, hollywood ET
Screen backlash has actually cause universal to remove 3d from the minions ride as well as fast and furious. Those rides aren't good in the first place, but they certainly are worse without 3d.
I didn't do Fast and Furious it was unavailable but I've heard bad things. The 3D ruins the immersion completely, it's 2024 they need to move with the times. Transformers and Spiderman would be MILES better without the glasses as the scenic details compliment the screen yet the glasses obscure all the detail. Gringotts would be horrific without glasses because of the sheer number of screens and it's just a poor ride. Minions is probably the only one I can agree would be good with glasses because it's very similar to a 3D movie experience with a giant screen.
I’m guessing dreamwork land isn’t the best and looks rushed because of epic universe and how much money they’re pouring into that. (And Uk universal 🙏)
You missed the Bourne Stuntacular? If you go to Universal Studios and don’t go on that show you missed Universal Studios, that show, Rise of the Resistance and Guardians of the Galaxy are the top 3 jaw dropping attractions in Orlando that you have to see.
I’ve already seen enough stunt shows to last me a lifetime aha I didn’t mind missing this one in favour of doing more rides! I’ve watched videos of it before etc but I can just wait until my next visit 😀
How you felt about Gringotts is how I felt about Mario Kart. One of the biggest disappointments ever. So much money and effort must have gone into the "game" and screen parts of it, but the ride lacks so much genuine kinetics, which is such a phenomenal shame because the physical scenery is so good, all it needed was some speed and take the gimmick away.
@@adamparkes5365 I'm sure it'll be way more thrilling than the Hollywood version, in fact I know it will be but still... preserving this would have made me much happier, I really enjoyed it and I only rode I once JUST incase it was ruined by another row that rides like a bag of spanners haha
With the exception of smaller amusement parks I’d say this is easily the worst park in Florida. It’s just so messy & outdated, instead of having epic universe they’d have been better investing those areas into this park
It's lovely to walk around but for me there's only Rip, The Mummy and Transformers that stand out as rides worth doing here with the others being quite far behind. I didn't mind the new Minion Blast though, that's cheesy good fun. Dreamworks Land was a bitter disappointment. Reliance on screens is never a good idea but they're slowly moving away from being too heavy on that now which is great to see!
Thanks to Universal for inviting us down and providing express passes so we could smash out as many rides during our one day visit as we possibly could!

@@carlrobinson4843 I genuinely enjoyed it 😅 sadly it’s not up to standard for Universal anymore

Having been there last month I 💯 agree with everything you said, love the feeling of the park and the immersion. Great vlog as ever 😁
Thank you kindly! Just need to lay off the screen based / glasses heavy dark rides

Thanks for the comment! I’ll certainly try! As long as people keep watching I’ll keep sharing!
loving the orlando content. But have spent the last two hours looking for those sunglasses. sold out everywhere!!
They’re collectors items now I believe as Numskull only did a limited run! I’ve had no news on if there will be a restock / relaunch
Loved today and the wizarding world !! Thanks universal !!!!! We loved our day!!!!!

The glasses look good
Back to the Future my brother!
There's something about the krabby patties in spongebob that just looks so delicious

Single rider lines are great although Hagrids in IOA is meant to be just as bad as normal queue which surprises me

We didn't do the Kong ride, we were pressed for time at IOA so we prioritised the coasters before the storm came in and closed everything!
Okay I NEED to go to this park it looks awesome , I so hope the UK park gets approved 🤞🏼🤞🏼
I'm sure it will

Oh and donkey was totally shady to me and my accent last time and he was totally hilarious and almost very adult for a kids themed meet and greet ! 😂
I didn't wanna queue to talk to a Donkey so I just watched from afar aha
I agree about Rip Ride. Really not sure where the hate comes from. Enjoy it every time and not rough at all. Quite intense in places also
Yeah I don’t get it, granted I only had front row but if Universal want more capacity then… sure.. it has to go but it’s such a fun ride
@@LiftHillsandThrills it takes up a very thin footprint too. I'm sure they could squeeze a furious coaster in somewhere else

You have to admit though they can do much better than rip ride rocket! The second half is so boring
It does have a lull but the music fills the gaps and anything beats more Fast and Furious stuff no matter how unique the ride
