    It's perfectly fine. that first pillow she's lying on under her side and stomach lifts her off of the vena cava. you can lie them on that side as long as you bolster. they recommend 15 to 20 min but that's all the time she needs. also the pillows support her shoulders quite nicely.

      You obviously never done a massage on a pregnant person before. Or been pregnant🤰 this is very comfortable for a pregnant woman. The baby gets plenty of rich oxygen when mother lays on her side. Especially her left side.

      @@livinglight1924 I’ve done both and the amount of positioning pillows seems a little excessive. The fact that they advertised the pillow set from their own website at the end of the video didn’t surprise me!😅
      3 pillows is incredibly comfortable, or even just 1 side-lying pregnancy pillow.

      @@fruzzlepuff Shouldn't this woman be on her LEFT side?? I was taught to avoid right sidelying due to potential compression of the inferior vena cava. [Caveat: I am a new MT student, and am only going on what I've been told in school.]

    I own this cushion set and it is comfortable. I do think the leg bolster is not turned to accommodate the legs fitting in the grooves. Also, the lower leg would be boosted with additional pillow as she did for the arm in this demo.

      Where can I order this cushion set ? I like the one under her upper body. Seems her stomach is comfortable.

    Very nice example, only i would exclude the energy part. It’s not recommended for anyone without proper education to send energy to the mother and the child.
    Like that you are touching the third chakra frontal part and fourth chakra back side, but you as no professional can’t cause any energy flow.

    The pregnant woman should be on left side. I also believe this therapist is a little extreme with all the pillows. The poor woman does not look comfortable!

    Never lay a pregnant woman on her right side! That's where the main artery runs. If she lays on her right side, the artery will be squeezed and she will feel uncomfortable. Always lay her on her left side. It will improve the circulation to the placenta/baby.

  • @camajespa
    @camajespa 11 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    There is a real risk of compression of their lower vena cava by the right side lying position, especialy starting at the 28th week of pregnancy... Great doctors and specialists had identified this risk and wrote about it since many years... So, I don't understand how you can write misinformation about this topic.
