- Surely you all remember of MkLeo's Joker in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, right? Joker was not only the pinnacle of Fighters Pass 1, but it was also MkLeo's true rise to stardom in Ultimate. He was seemingly uncontested before switching to Byleth, but now it seems that MkLeo is ready to try again.

When Leo plays Aegis, Corrin, or Byleth...they still look recognizable the same character, just taken to their absolute limit. But Joker just looks...different. Like a new, Leo-exclusive character. Nobody plays Joker like that.
when people cried about Joker being his own tier my like 2 years ago or w/e I'd just say, It's just Leo's Joker.
@@vaderglenn doesn't matter. Leo's may be leagues above other's but the tiers are based off of results and proven potential, even if the average player can't reach it.

Tweek is a really good player but not even he has an even remotely similar skill level to leo
Before people would criticize Leo for playing Joker because of the character being the best character in Smash Ultimate. However since then, Leo has proven with his skills that it is not the character that was good, but the player and Joker simply happened to be the character that brings out his skills to the fullest potential.
Like we have/had a couple of Jokers floating around but none of them are as refined as Leo's. Just watching his movement, the options, and how near optimized he uses every single tool from the character is on another level. He doesn't just only apply fundamentals or the textbook strategies and options but literally watching this set it felt like not just a game of trading blows, but an oppressive dance that keeps on changing. Like you see his guns, his aerials, tilts, and etc. just flowing into one another and constantly mixed up? It was like this character was designed just for him, and this is the usually benched Joker as well that may come out once in a blue moon.
Nairo puts it best, like "if you didn't face a full set against MKLeo's Joker, did you really win against MKLeo?"

The only thing I'll add, is that MKleo before that tournament had been playing Joker and Optimizing Joker for over a month on his Stream. He just never pulled Joker out for a tournament and honestly he just decided to Flex his Joker practice to surprise everyone who doesn't follow his stream.

Joker isn't the best character in the game. Look at Mars trying to use joker. A top player like Mars would be winning everything if the character was the best but Mars does terrible with joker

I don't really follow the smash bros meta, I just see snippets of stuff like Steve complaining and Leo being good on Twitter, BUT ACTUALLY SEEING HIM PLAY IS LIKE WHIPLASH WTF. It's like they couldn't hit him and whenever they did hit him it didn't even matter because he lived and had 3 stocks left and whenever Leo hit someone it lead into a setup that dealt like 87% and killed. I knew he was good but seeing him play is totally different

He is still the GOAT but Sparg0 is debatable to be there with him in skill currently, but without question Sparg0 will become the next best player of Smash bros here soon. Even MkLeo Believes Sparg0 will pass him soon and be the best player.

This is kind of late isn't it? He's already played at 2 majors where he refused to play the character, even taking the L at Smash Con because of it. I still can't figure out why he doesn't play this character more often.
He thinks it's boring or something. Like he's straight up said he has way more fun playing Byleth / Corrin / Aegis. And the fact that the man still competes for top 3-5 in the world with any of those characters is still crazy.

I love watching Leo's Byleth and I main byleth myself. And while I think Byleth is a good character I feel like he play s Byleth for fun & because he knows he can still beat everyone playing Byleth but once he gets the Joker out it's clear how much of a gap there is between Leo & other players.
Its a work of art.
