I am more suprised by the fact High Elf even went to school instead of having private tutoring or studying in some sort of special rich elves only school. Maybe its the reason she went to this school in first place. Her family was rich, but not your typical high elf rich.
Technically, in default DnD lore ( ie the Forgotten Realms ), all elves have that elven smugness, at least a bit, but only a specific subtype of high elves, called sun elves ( they have darker skin, closer to wood elves in color, and blonder hair than other high elves ), doesn't often see past it and is visibly arrogant. The other high elves, called moon elves ( they can have very pale skin, and things like *blue* eyes, silver hair, and things in that vein ), who are often wandering lunatics that are likely to offer help when needed, are way more chill.

Outside of drows, she is also a goddess of spiders, and as such giant spiders are commonly seen among Drow cities.

Usually they are buff and really got grit for battle. Most Celtic myths tend to differ, but specifically Welsh fairies are sort of like the lady of the lake in King arthur, they inhabit nature and generally don't like people but in older legends under king Oberon the fairies are generally whimsical and playful. They got that whole play all day till the sun goes down vibe. Rarely they would ever harm humans but there are twisted fairies out there. Then there is the Central European/German ones who are just horrible. Like if the rest of folklore is Teletubbies, German Black forest tales make it their mission to be Warhammer 40k because all German tales are supposed to scare kids to being well behaved.
