Thank you for this review!!! The Gulp Minnow is definitely a confidence bait, it catches everything!!! It's the juice in the jar/package that is a nuisance. No matter how many zip lock bags I try to keep it in, that juice always finds a way to get out so I've thought about getting some if these new minnows to keep in my tackle bag so I won't have to worry about the Gulp juice leaking out.

Thank you so much for watching, it helps this channel so much. I dont think you can go wrong with this bait at the moment. And I agree the Gulp juice is the biggest issue with the Gulp minnows. The new Powerbait minnow can be stuck in your pocket or bag and no worries about leaking. God bless my friend. And thank you for the comment, they are welcome any time.

Awesome video brother, I bet that place looks something special come summer when those mountains green up! You make it look easy my friend. I had never heard of a “black nosed crappie” I’m going to be looking out for them brother!😂 you had me laughing hard at having a tough time quitting in the rain. I haven’t tried those Powerbait minnows yet, I’ve always been a gulp man, but you absolutely nailed it with the Gulp Juice Spilling!! It makes not want to use them, I’ve ran into that issue time and time again! I’ll give those power baits a try! Thanks for the video brother!

You know, sometimes the fish bite the best when you dont have enough time or when its nasty outside. I wanted to go warm up so bad but couldnt. And the one time I did go back to the truck as soon as I stuck my rod in it quit raining. So I got it back out walked back down the slick rocks and as I cast it started raining again. I love the Gulp products but the juice is a problem. I think you would like the Powerbait minnows. I call them black nose crappie because they have a solid black stripe from their mouth to the top of their head. I dont catch many but a few. God Bless my friend.

Thank you for the comment my friend, please comment any time. I love the Gulp minnow and still have some to use up. But for the type of fishing that I do I think the Powerbait minnow is a winner for me. I have had that Gulp juice in my jackets and backpacks countless times and thats the biggest problem I have with them. God Bless my friend.

Hello Harold. This is a older Bass Pro micro lite rod. I dont know if they make them anymore. This is the rod that I reeled in while I was catfishing cleaned it up and have been using it ever since. I think Bass Pro makes a fiberglass rod like it still. The reel is a Pflueger president size 20. I would suggest going up a size in it, this one even with 2lb mono gets loose loops on that small spool and tangles up. Thank you for watching. God Bless my friend. If you need any more information please let me know.
