Back three years later to say I still listen to this when times are really bad for me, like they are right now. This may be silly and kind of nonsensical, but a while ago I heard a comparison that I do believe holds some truth. If art is how we decorate space, music is how we decorate time. This song is a perfect example.

My fellow battlers...no, my brothers...Finally our journey has come to an end...After years of wars, tears, suffering, pain, losses, anguish, regrets, false hopes, betrayals...all this has come at the end...finally our journey is over...finally we're home, we're finally back to those who love us and to those who never forgot us despite all these years. My brothers... a toast to those who are gone and to those who one day we will meet. And with that, all the warriors there, as they toasted... found their peace again.

When I first heard this, tears rolled down my cheeks for some reason. I think maybe because it reminds me of the dark past I left behind which still worries me. But listening to made me feel as if it's time to let go of the past and move forward. I feel so much better. It made my day (:

A winter scene extraordinary...reminiscent of Malbork Castle on the Vistula River in Poland, the stronghold of the Teutonic Knights who fought for Christianity in the crusades Ca 1160-1260 and then in northern Europe converting unbelieving barbarians to Catholicism.
@@zamiel9 Actually I'm recounting a brief history of how the scene's beauty created a reminder for me of a similar non-fictional geographic place...sometimes events and players considered evil must be seen in light of the overpowering law of survival of fittest, an unfortunate a law created by the forces of order and structure in the universe, maybe God.
