I'm glad some of your questions have been answered! If you have anything in particular you'd like to know, just ask and I'll try to address it in a future video. The GMCs are GREAT, even though they either take a lot of work to fix up, or a lot more $$ to buy one someone else has fixed up!
Very nice job. Bet the hubby loves the shark byte connectors. I didn't even know about them till I found a water leak in mine and had to replace part of my pipe. Didn't know they make them for air lines also. Thanks for bringing me along on the restoring.
That armature is in fact the leveling device for the ride height. Once it reaches a certain point the leveler closes off air to the bag. At the same time it creates a high pressure scenario in the supply line to the valve, from the pump... their should be an over pressure switch that then shuts of the pump off when it sees that high pressure scenario...
where did you buy the bags??? I just pick one of these up and need airbags. I see many sellers, but want to go with someone who I know is a solid dealer vendor
How's the ride with the new bags? Looks like they'd be quite a bit stiffer than the originals. And does it still lift as high and drop as low as original?
I like the way "we" replaced the airbag... :o)
Every helpful. I'm thinking of buying an old GMC too and your videos have answered many of my questions.

I will recommend to upgrade the carburetor and the distributor for a better performance and fuel efficiency.
I am trading my Dodge santana RV for a 73 GMC canyonland, would you sugest replacing the airbags anyway even if they are in good shape?
What tires are those?
please grease the rear joints, with a grease gun, they look dry

Where did you get the air bags
I believe I got them at Applied GMC, but I can't find the invoice to confirm.
@@DisOtterlyConduct correct. Love that they only nee 40 psi instead of 100 psi to drive down the road.
Better ride.
Cant stand to see people working in flip flops--your not at the beach.
I can't stand seeing people use "your" instead of "you're".
