Hi, There were 3 routes shown by google maps.We took the one which was less in terms of km.The Bangalore one didn’t showed up so we went ahead with other route.

Actually from Vellore you should have taken left towards Chennai.....before 30kms to Chennai you shud take right towards chengalpattu....then Chennai - Trichy highway..and trichy- rameshwaram road....

You should have taken Bangalore Madurai route nh44 single road instead of so many turns

The first river was Krishna and the second one was Thunga Bhadra.
