NAM is definitely needed. Representing NAM countries need to let the Western powers and the Communist related powers (including former ones who haven't changed their act like Russia) that they are not pawns in their ongoing post-Cold War 'restarting the board-game' of politics. If the representing NAM countries work closer in their efforts they could prosper more in holding back their domestically produced resources from being traded to the West or current/former Communist related countries (e.g. Communist China and Russia). Seriously, OPEC and the major coffee producing countries that belong to NAM can gain so much more if they consolidate and control all the stages of economic production prior to selling the final product (refined oil and roasted coffee).

As if one Cold War was not enuf, the US now starts another one, this time with China, Russia, Iran!
However, unlike in the BIPOLAR cold war days, where only the US and the USSR were the only superpowers, today's world is MULTI-POLAR, so NAM won't be as relevant as it once was.
We are going to see a rise of Regional superpowers!

Please who can help me solve this question African state pursued a foreign policy of non-alignment during the cold war. 1. this means siding with both the USA or the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) for foreign aid. 2. Non-alignment failed as a foreign policy strategy. 3. Non-alignment marginalized African states during the Cold War.
