- Hey guys! HyRoolLegend coming at you guys with another video of Cookie Run Kingdom. The new update has finally brought us the new magic candy for Latte Cookie! She has absolutely been my favorite since I started the game because she carried me throughout the early stages of the game. With her magic candy, she definitely has gotten a lot stronger, but is she really worth building right now? Let's find out together!

basically, if you aim to use latte shes gotta have some good dmg resist, and cooldown, she can deal good damage with atk toppings but spamming her skill works better it seems

Latte seems like she might be great for the candy golem event with a full poison team. Maybe she can replace either creme puff or eclair.
She can be use for the dragon boss
All you can get from latte in a full poison team besides increasing dmg is just reduced healing which is not good against the candy golem which it does not have any healing
No she wouldn’t. They only extra thing she does with poison is lessen the heals the enemies receive, and the golem doesn’t heal.
Nobody could replace eclair cookie

i’m happy that there’s not a rush for this one, i’m still working on my other magic candies like for cp and ww so this gives a bit more time.

If the goal is to try to have Latte Cookie alive in the arena. I guess it's best add someone like Milky Way Cookie to provide a little more protection & to weaken your opponents. I'll definitely be investing in one of my favorite cookies like her. Latte Cookie is the 2nd epic cookie I have at a 5 star ascension
could latte be used with abyss boss? immobilize could help keep the monsters back, help other cookies do more dmg with her amplified debuff, and help with sustainability with her heal
I hope to get Latte’s costume and I never built her up past level 36 from the past lol so now I’m kicking myself and I have a lot of grinding and star jelly gathering to do, so I can build her up. 🤦♀️ ❤ I had focused on other cookies that were being used more at the time. Ugh.
hyrool can you please do a magic cookie guide video? i know you released one previously but with the addition of mala sauce, latte, and madeline's magic candies it's tough to know which ones to level up first

hyrool do you think that latte might have a place in the guild battle? especially with the prune juice comp for the dragon that everyone is switching to rn, she might have a place there
I think they needed to add some kind of dmg resist for every debuff on her when she used her skill for her to work. Maybe every debuff she cleanses she gains 2% dmg reist
From the looks of it this is another case of a pve/guild focused cookie, cannot wait for a red velvet team with her
hi, I know it's been a ~month but i've actually been using latte in a team comp that's really unusual.
it's just the standard comp (Hb, Moon, PV, and Capsaicin) with Latte
Latte doesn't do ALOT of damage but the 2 second immobilization does enough to get the job done (I run her with 2SC and 3SA, 40% Dmg res w 13%CD)
(I use the tresures: Old P. scroll, Whistle for Capsaicin and ML, and the Insignia of Indomitable knights)
I used to run this comp as a joke but now it's carrying me up to M2-1 (still cant reach GM3-1 since the game gets boring and I loose productivity, but its def possible)
Ed: just do this if you wanna have fun and use latte in Arena
Can you make a video on the Red Velvet one shot team since it managed to get number one on the Hall of Fame
sadly that team is pretty outdated now and just goes on and off within the meta so not really worth building just because the number one had it as defense at the end. If you really want, I like Kode made a video on it before

Im happy she’s getting the love she deserves, she was used a lot before along with Expresso and sometimes even more than Expresso

I think the reason Latte won’t work well with Prune Juice is because her Magic Candy doesn’t balance out her damage until you upgrade it to +30, which is obviously a hassle.
Otherwise, i’d say she’s doing fine! Her only issue seems to be that she doesn’t have stable consistency to rely on, but her support is still useful!
Short takeaway: Remember that being meta for Arena isn’t always necessary; PvE is still no joke! :>
She’s not that good for pve ether,there’s better options

also, this whole magic candy just deletes my jellybeans. wish they'd make use of other materials for the resonant ingredients or have magic powders, like in ovenbreak.

Hay can you try out the double tank or tripple tank with strawberry crepe? Since she’s the og like hollyberry i left the game for long time i gies it’s too late to chase the oldbie 👹 the meta when most dps must have high dmg res or even full solid almond, in double tank sbc will cover 2 dps and in tripple tank they’ll cover the main dps and the other sub/healer/supp, hope you try 😍
I have it level 4 rn, and I swear why does it deal so much damage already, she goes rlly well with kougn amann and prune juice ofcourse
I believe there's a bias to super epic or legendary cookie. Eg. Stardust cookie

I was going to create her magic candy but many people are complaining about her lacking survivability and wasted potential. Such a pity because she was my all-time cookie back in the early days, she would help me beat world exploration along with espresso cookie.

I would say Madeline is best to use since this is Atk speed meta.
I have a Licorice with silence, cream unicorn with silence, and her with silence, add prune and a tank and I have a good poison team

For me, I think she's really promising just wish she did a burst damage at the end of her Skill. She is not really good right now because, we don't really know the best comp for it.

well your team is reallllly weak without hollyberry. kouign amann has really no good synergy within that team and madeleine is not much better either. I would say replacing your tank with someone else is probably the best choice
I think 2 Frontline latte, prune juice and PV. With damage resistance topping for latte and prune gonna work
they don't deal damage sadly...tried it and they just get popped either way

So her best set is going to be a full chocolate with nice damage res and some atk thrown on subs? Because hey, I think this is an awesome buff for her and I've been wanting her to get a magic candy and I love Prune Juice too so double bonus there.
I unfortunately had built her previously on full raspberry that has major damage res at 23%, wondering if that would be okay over full chocolate? Probably not but just asking in case 😊 happy for Latte Cookie all round, just need one of her costumes now!
I've always had full chocolate on Espresso and Latte because I remember hearing something about them good with it in old OJ videos
@@OrlandoCruz82 makes sense...I mean being able to spam your skill means you deal more damage overall and in Latte and Espressos case, debuff/immobilize enemies more often (I don't remember what espressos does originally but I know his candy lets him inflict injury!) I guess I'll use Swift Chocolate on her then
@Brendan Mason when he was released, I think it was because he can interrupt opponents with the blast from his skill, but with MC he stuns and injures
So um i gived Kouign-amann Cookie 3 Almond (w atk speed and amplify buff) an 2 Atk Speed toppings. Is this good for her? If is it good i will do the same thing on Madeleine (only for atk speed)
If you go with that build might as well just give 3 raspberry and 2 almond with focus on dmg resist and atk spd so that they at least get the set bonus for having 3 raspberry

not really a fan of continues damage because it can easily be outhealed by burst healing cookies lng PV, I think it would be better if she can deal instant burst damage
I agree. I think she would have worked really well with prune juice if she had a way to deal like a big burst damage like espresso

not too sure about that...if it is gone right now its because you need to reach master 3 again but if you did and see no points added, I think you might need to see what happened with others as well
that's strange. i gained points, even got a reward. but i'm assuming you got master 3 up though, so... maybe the tier can be an issue as well?
@@HyRoolLegend That's the thing. I got Master 2, yet my points are at 60500, right above a reward I had already claimed last time... so I'm -sure- I got no points, yet I don't know how to prove it or complain about it XD I was really looking forward for those 1k topping pieces...

Imagine making a candy for a cookie just for stardust to be like “no. You don’t get to play. I GET TO PLAY.”
(Seriously at this point if you fight someone and that hidden cookie is stardust and you don’t have em just forfeit the match cause 90% of the time it’s going to be a defeat unless you have one yourself.)
i personally just use frost comp. still works well against teams w stardust. but he really is just powerful ://

not really. her perk is the little extra debuff amplify for 20% and a little extra damage but you would have to replace either Eclair (know stacks weakness), Sherbet (who slows), Space Doughnut (who puts defense reduction and tanks), or Milky Way (who heals and tanks and puts defense reduction). There really is no cookie that she can replace to make the team better right now
I don’t think I’ll use her tbh, I still need to level up Madeline to 20+ and I already have a Cream Puff yknow

The real problem with latte magic candy is that.. the healing reduction itself.. the magic candy provide nothing unique..
Imagine this.. black pearl has -35% healing reduction and - attack aswell.. means on yhe top of healing reduction, enemy's healer will rendered more useless since their attack is reduced..
And wht worse.. black pearl dont need a niche condition to do that.. but latte does..
Whts good about latte is for debuf resist and niche healing imo
Ahh and +70% silence duration is also nice.. i think thats probably one of the longgest pseudo disable in the game

you don't deal damage with her in the abyss compared to the comp you have right now. She doesn't deal enough damage as a damage dealer compared to squid and caviar and even doughnut

I cannot believe that ALL of these magic candies require jellybeans. I literally have 0 all the time it's the most used resource for items AND especially magic candies. The lack of proper distribution and accessibility of the resources in the game is REALLY starting to turn me off from playing and I have not missed a day since I started playing well over a year ago. I'm not even 100% free-to-play but the real money jellybean/sugar cube/etc. builders are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!!! It makes me really sad and I wish they would change it or at least fix the amount you can make at one time, the amount of things using jellybeans, etc. You should take a look at the number distribution of jellybeans/sugar cubes to thinks like wood and jellyberries, which for the most part (especially wood) are used for basically nothing (or when they are, I'm lacking in the other crucial resource I need to make that item and so I get way too stacked on the overly plentiful material).
I log in every 8-ish hours, or at least try to, to consistently make sure my sugar cubes and jellybeans. After waking up, I usually have 300ish sugar cubes and jellybeans each. Focusing on the jellybeans especially (due to the TEN out of TWELVE magic candies requiring 16 jellybeans each!!!), I started with ~300 this morning, filled my Jammeries with 8 Toffee Jams each. My bakeries with only 9 Tart Jampies in total. Only 4 Bear Jelly Burgers in my Jampie Diners total, which take 10 jellybeans each, and 1 Tart Jampie, resulting in 16 total jellybeans just to make a single Bear Jelly Burger, which is SUPPOSED to be a basic, early game produce. I can't even fill my Jampie Diners with anything other than those 4 burgers because I'm out of jellybeans for the Hot Jelly Stew and I'm even out of flour for the Candy Pasta. I end up with more mid-tier materials than the supposedly easy-to-make ones, and many of my production buildings go empty even though I do my best to be VERY consistent, to the point that it's making it very clear to me how much time I have to waste just to do something that should be 1) way more streamlined in general and 2) not take up much time at all but I have to ration my resources every 5 hours.
My Artisan workshops remain completely empty as I am 100% out of flour and sugar cubes. And in order to even make the Gleamy Beads, I need a Bear Jelly Burger, which we know takes 16 jellybeans EACH. In my Flower Shops, I can usually keep up with candy flowers but sometimes the lack of flour really hits with the Biscuit Planters. I have 0 Happy Planters, and usually never have more than 10. I have 1 sugar cube right now so, no Happy Planters for me. After those few basic things I have to make, I have nothing left for even the Jellybean Lattes. Usually I can only put a few things in the Latte Cafe and more advanced production buildings because of all the basic resources I lack to even make the mid tier production materials like 12 sugar cubes + 1 Hot Jelly Stew (so also 4 jellybeans each) producing a single Shiny Glass, which are needed to make Glazed Donuts, etc... you get the point.
You need materials for the Tree of Wishes, Trains, the Trade Harbor, Events, etc. You can trade some at the Seaside Market but it's never enough, needs another scarce resource, or barely shows up at all. Even with events giving out free everything it's not nearly enough.

It bugs me so much with the fact its 4 a even tho u could promote it-
well sadly it requires legendary essence each are expensive and hard to get so i have to save till its for a cookie that i know for sure i will use. you can't just ascend all the time cuz you just have the resources...
