"y/n" he growled as he firmly grabbed your chin and made you look at him. you had fear in your eyes, his favourite look. "sorry scara, i was distracted" you apologize, putting away your writing equipment. "distracted doing what so? what are you writing, show me it." he demanded as he let go of your chin and reaching towards your paper. out of instinct you swat his arm away but then realize how bad of an idea that was and freeze. "oh? is there something you dont want me to see, y/n? well, too bad" he mocks as he pushes away your hand and grabs the note.
lately lord scaramouche has been acting weirdly. over protective? he would get bad when you talked to any other guy, especially childe. never wanting you out of his sight. his feelings were so sudden and explainable you just blamed it on the weather but now it seems more than that...
he starts intensely scanning the paper, the note you were planning on sending back to your family in mondstat. instantly, he starts interrogating you. "this klee child, is this a sibling?" "jean? a friend, ive never heard of them." "who's diluc, is that your boyfriend?" his voice getting angrier by the second. you profusely shake your head at the last question. "good" he says as he drops the note and walks towards his office door. he looks back for a second "because youre mine, y/n" as he locks the door.

I decided to write a POV! It is in the theme of the playlist, of course so please don't read if you're not comfortable with this :) English isn't my language so I'm sorry if there is any mistakes!
Scaramouche… Saying that name burned your lips and filled your body with indescribable anguish, tensing every muscle. You stared intently at the door, your greatest fear being that it might open. Your ears were also on the lookout for the slightest bell sound indicating his potential presence nearby.
Scaramouche… Yes, this man who had deprived you of the slightest pleasure that embellished your life, by keeping you with a firm hand at his side.
When you joined the ranks of the Fatui, you were not fooled: joining them meant giving up your old identity which was now futile. However, no one had warned you of the risk of being reduced to a simple toy for an Harbinger...
One fine day, you were promoted under the terrified eyes of your training companions following the understanding of these words: "You will now work under Scaramouche’s orders". The Balladeer was feared by all, becoming one of his soldiers was a recurring subject of night terrors among the Fatui. But similar to an easy prey, you headed straight for the trap instead of running away.
Gifted, Scaramouche got wind of your exploits and began to think that perhaps all his pawns were not as stupid as he thought. Curious, he entrusted you with more and more complicated missions in order to observe your abilities. The test he imposed on you was passed with flying colors and a genuine smile graced the Harbinger's face for the first time. He could have given you a promotion but he preferred to keep you selfishly and preciously at his side. Someone truly worthwhile was finally available to him, after all. You were his little treasure, one that nobody could touch or even look at without his permission.
Of course, you would have much preferred to continue fighting and contributing to the noble cause of the Tsaritsa... But your superior had decided otherwise: a good soldier would not question his orders, would they?
If he decided to keep you locked up in his quarters, decked out in luxurious, revealing clothes and using you as a way to relax, claiming it was all part of your training…It was for a good reason, right ?
So you contented yourself with agreeing to each of his words and carrying out the least of his degrading orders.
Oh, how he admired this obedience.
He was always going the extra mile, wanting to push your limits until the moment you will broke. Scaramouche had no scruples: if his toy were to break, it would be that much easier to reshape it according to his wishes.
Lost in thought, your senses quickly brought you back to reality as the familiar noise sounded from the hallways. The bells sounded like a requiem announcing the end of your peace. The door opened far too slowly, as if to taunt you, and Scaramouche's dominant aura immediately invaded the room. You knelt and bowed at his feet, as required by the Harbinger.
You were supposed to worship the Tsartisa, not him… But there had to be a reason for that, right?

Scaramouche was your owner, he'd treat you exactly like a pet. He would get a 6 feet perimeter between you two and others, that or no others. He'd do whatever it takes to keep you to himself

Sometimes, at late night mornings, you'd wake up with your heart racing from a nightmare you have awaken from. Sometimes he'd be by your side to comfort you, pull you in, whisper sweet nothings in your ears, and lure you back to rest. The other half the time he'd be absent from the shared bed, and you wouldn't have a chance to search for him.
On a bright side, he'd never physically harm you..
He'd become a shield to you, never feared his own life being sacrificed. He'd do anything to protect his beloved, but that also leads to the reason he's keeping you for himself
And whatever feeling you get of freedom, it's just a dream

His hands trickled up your clothes, soothing your skin. With the faster vibrations of your bodies colliding the air began to grow more humid, this feeling of gasping in the dense atmosphere made your pants increasingly rapid yet gentle.
Face- flushed to the passion of red as he choked you with those hands.
Veins on his fingers acted like streaks of lightning, sending shivers of pleasure down your spine- "more-" words came out of your mouth before you-
"You naughty little bitch, tell me how much you want it- "
The smirk on his face grew wider, almost psychopathic.
"Don't you regret this".
The sadistic expression he made would've convinced anyone to think he was mad but you were blinded to the thought of him relishing you all to himself, keeping you of service to him and him alone.
A short airless breath left your lips when you tried to break the silence again. Those veined hands ran across your silk smooth skin, playing with the most sensitive parts of your body, you felt tears build up in your eyes from his predatorial possession: when he reached down to pull your wrists up to his view, a sleek black top was used to cover your eyes.
With the loss of your vision all your other senses were heightened to the peak "mmh~ S- Scara~" Was that his name?

The moonlight is shining through the window, bathing your skin with its ethereal light. Looking at it, it looks pure and calm. Opposite of the pure chaos outside of your room. You can hear the screams of agony and the pleas for mercy of the poor fatui soldiers. You can feel the slight touch of electricity hanging in the air. You looked at your reflection in the mirror and saw your tears glimmering against the moonlight.
He's at it again. Punishing whoever he deems not worthy of life. He calls them trash. Lowly insects.
As a being who lived for hundreds of years, one's life is one that just passes for him. No remorse. He will eliminate whoever goes against his orders. And although he tells you he will never hurt you, you can't help but think that you are not exempted from his torture.
Suddenly, it became silent. The haunting voices of the soldiers are now lost in the wind.
You can now hear your heavy breaths, your deafening heartbeat, and the sound of cicadas as they fill the night with their song. You used to love listening to them as it brings you comfort as you sleep through cold nights when you were just an amateur soldier. However, it does not bring you peace now. It made your blood run cold. It's an ominous sign. It is the night, and he will come visit you in your quarters.
"(Y/N)-sama, Scaramouche-sama is on his way to see you."
You drew a heavy breath, trying to calm yourself down. You wiped your tears as you looked in the mirror to force your face to be devoid of any emotions that might trigger the harbinger. After all, it is better than showing him how you fear him.
A few moments later, you can hear his familiar footsteps. The heaviness. The pace. You know it's him. He's coming.
You stood up and faced the door. Preparing yourself for whatever may happen in his presence.
The door slowly slides open, revealing his figure. Traces of blood on his clothes and the smell of something burnt filled your senses. You wanted to fall on the ground to curl and cry. You are mad at him. You are disgusted with him. You hate him.
He killed people again.
Yet exhausted, you stayed still. Face straight. Cannot find the will to move under his gaze.
A slight glint of obsession reflected on his purple orbs as your lifeless eyes met his. You stand before him, your body feeling heavy even though you wore the lightest clothes you've ever worn in your life as a soldier. The purple fabric covered your arms and reached your ankle, yet you felt bare before his eyes. You can see him scanning you up and down. As he closed the door and walked towards you, a small smirk played on his lips. You can hear the ominous ringing of the trinkets on his hat, and you can't help but feel hopeless as he combed your hair with his slender fingers and took a bundle of your hair to pull it close to his mouth.
"How are you (Y/N)?"
A cold shiver ran down your spine and you wanted to run away. His eyes met yours again. You can see the clear red eye shadow that compliments the color of his eyes. His purple orbs, they speak of lust.
You can't find your voice. You can't move. Caged like a small bird, completely at the mercy of the balladeer.
"Haaa...I missed you so, so much. I wanted to apologize for not visiting you often. I have been busy weeding out useless trash among our soldiers. Unfortunately, her majesty the Tsaritsa is planning to send me to Liyue for yet another mission." He sighed.
You wanted to laugh and shout at him. How can he talk about his crimes casually? He killed people. How can he tell you this and not feel sorry?
You fought back the tears that were slowly forming in your eyes. You don't want him to see you in tears. You refuse to show him how your walls are slowly breaking down, unable to hold the weight of your pain any longer.
He snaked his arm on your waist and pulled you in for a hug.
He is cold.
He is not human after all.
"I wish I could take you with me. But I can't risk you running away from me." You suddenly felt suffocated. You can feel his hug tightening and it's starting to hurt you. You moan in pain. Unable to fight it back anymore, tears streamed down your face as you sob.
"Especially when that goddamned Adeptus is roaming around that measly nation."
Your eyes widened. Impossible.
How did he know about Xiao?
You panicked and he felt your warm, fast breaths against his skin. He sensed your fear. His eyes widened in disbelief and anger. A wicked smile formed on his lips.
"So, I was right. He was your lover, wasn't he?" The harbinger laughed as he pushed you away from him. You fell to the ground and bumped into the table that was holding your mirror. The mirror fell and the delicate glass shattered, together with the little hope you kept on holding to. The hope that the Scaramouche you learned to love will come back.
You looked at him as he covered his face with his right hand and held his stomach with the other.
"Omoshiroi!" (Interesting!) He looked at you while laughing maniacally. His purple orbs are glowing, and you can feel the bloodlust in the air.
The man you used to love...he's gone. This person in front of you was already consumed with obsession. The sweet side he used to show only to you is gone together with the myriad dreams you had with him. His gentle touch and his musical laughter are drowned in your own fear. Poisonous kisses and a rotten heart, that's what he is now.
Was it all a lie? Were they really him? Or was it just a show to capture your heart and your feelings?
"Only I can have you, (Y/N)." He leveled himself to you and held your face gently. You can feel his slender fingers wiping off your tears.
"There is no return. You're mine." He crashed your lips with his cold ones. You used to love the peculiar feeling it gives you. But now, it only brings you pain and more hatred. You wanted to push him away, but you can't. Your heart is making you waver, and remnants of the past are making you submit under his touch.
'Please return my heart' - you plead to the archons as you cry under Scaramouche's suffocating embrace. But it was too late. You're already in his cage. Your wish will never be granted. The red threat of cruel fate has been tied in a tight knot.
How naive. You shouldn't have believed in a puppet's love.

your eyes lock with his, fear in yours while you could only find lust in his. you were lost, with his recent emotions, actions and the look in his eyes at the moment. he snapped you out of your trance with his voice "why're you writing a letter back home..? y/n" he said mockingly but the last word with love. your head tilted towards your lap, not wanting to show your superior your true intent. the once fear turned into a feeling of life or death.
he noticed your sudden nervousness and approached you once again. he hummed as he snatched the note that was in your hand. "you're not planning on going back to visit, right..? you've been in this position for only a few months, a bit early to take a break.. hmm?" he breathed into your ear, sending chills down your back. you positioned your face the opposite way of his, attempting to hide the red rushing to your face.
he wasn't right but he wasn't wrong. you've only been his inferior for a few months but it's driven you crazy. once a free fatui soldier who was surrounded by people daily to a helpless secretary who's only muse was their boss, anyone would've gone crazy.
scaramouche didn't like when you didn't obey him. he once again grabbed your chin, harder and faced it towards him. your two faces were awfully close together as he started "you'e not ignoring me, now. are you?" he said tightening his grip on your flushed cheeks. "no, sir. i was... just.." you debated on telling him the truth, about your plans or about how you felt but you knew both wouldn't go well. "i wasn't planning anything, sir. i was just.. startled but the sudden outburst, i apologize." you reply.
he scoffs at your reply and let's go of your face. your hands go up instinctively to sooth the bruised area. "and you expect me to believe that..?" he mocks as he walks to your personal bookshelf. he pulls out a book hidden behind the others, the book you planned everything in. "you think your so smart, honey? that you can just hide *this* from me?" he laughs as he empties the contents of the book in front of you.
it was a jumble of mora, random immensities and specially at note. *your escape plan.* he throws the book on the ground and turns towards you. "you were thinking of leaving me, weren't you?" he says in a dangerous tone. and before you could respond he interrupts you with a swift slap to your face. you don't dare to turn your face back to his.
