Here I learn that Friesian horses are simply put, "Fancy Footers". 😍Not runners. Staying in tune with their limitations makes for a pleasant ride. And I noticed how Reintje improved in this training session. Thank you Yvonne for the translated narrative and this experience through your's and Reinje's process. I can see how especially perfect it is that Reintje in now with you at Stall H.
I like watching the different moves that go into riding in a dressage competition. Thanks for the training video, I learned a lot of facts about the Friesian horse and how their muscles are different than other breeds. Very interesting.
You and Reintje together = ❤️💞 So wonderful to see your mutual harmony and understanding, and to know how you are both new mums together, it’s kind of magic! Thank you so much for your life enhancing work and films. It’s like healing medicine! Also, thank you for not putting any music on your films. 🙏🏻👍🏻💫❤️🧡💕
I believe it makes sense for Rein as the owner: when a mare qualifies for these various honors, it probably raises the price of what he can charge for one of her foals. And for her, if they eventually sell her (I hope not, but sometimes it's necessary, alas).
Uniek was Yvonne's heart horse of course, but there's a long way she's gone with Reintje as well. I'm happy she's gone to Stal H. as well and stayed with Yvonne! 😊
@@FriesianHorses Hi there, I have been watching your beautiful videos for many months and am curious about your stable. Do you keep all of these horses for your own pleasure, or do you run some kind of business? If you prefer not to say why you have so many horses, I understand. It is just unusual that you put out so many videos, but I have never heard you say the reason you have the horses or the purpose of your stable and it would be nice to understand the context. Thank you.
@@evaboldt653 just watch all of her wonderful videos and you will learn everything about her and these marvelous Friesians🥰 Plenty of answers and fabulously relaxing 😌♥️
I'd like to thank you for being a good trainer and also being a good person. I love how you take care of the horses and their well being, you really love them and they you.❤️🥰
I watch the Friesian horses with the pretty young lady that is always there. I just want to say it is so interesting. Everything is beautiful. I like the barn scenes, too. What a life! Bette
My friend, she was on the vertical a few times in this training session. At 9:07 just past A just before the corner, was one of those times. Her poll and top crest must be level for the vertical. Watch this video again, and you will see what I mean. Stay safe and Many Blessings for continued good Health for everyone there. Your friend in Ontario, Canada, Jenn.
and in English Canter is used more, gallop usually means nearly out of control. Hope you don't mind my comments it is all meant with respect and utter enjoyment watching you and your gorgeous horses
@@rinske94 i wish my daughter could teach you, she is very good, Anke wanted her at the time, but she didn't have a suitable horse then, but being in Ireland...
Reiner did a fantastic job she is a real listener . I would have loved to see her go backwards .... is it hard to train a horse to go backwards. How long do you train before you know she understands what she has to do???? Please show us.
What does shoulder in mean? Is it the shoulder of you it Reintje? I’m in love with your horses and Reintje is a sweet horse. You two look like you are in perfect sync. Hugs from Florida, USA. ♥️
Would love to see how you train the lovely young fillies (1 and 2 years olds). Especially since they have never been ridden-how do you get them accustomed to wearing a saddle?
You can't ride so young horses! They are not strong enough to carry human weight! Nobody want to broke their backs. Example: you can start to train young horses from 3 years old (longe, liberty jump, introducing saddle), you can ride them around 4... if you are a good horse trainer. Exception: thoroughbreds... they start to train the for races at 2 years old... and they get injured very fast. It's a pretty cruel system, they are out of races at 4. You can "train" a 1-2 y.o. staying at rope, put the halter , being brushed, give his feet, walk with humans and respect the distance.
Whoa...at no stage did i say ride the young horses.. Obviously they are too small.. Just wanted to know how they become accustomed to wearing a saddle when they are older. 🤷♀️ Thanks Friesan buddy for answering that 🌻
@@IIIRikaIII Your knowledge of Thoroughbred horse racing is very limited! With your limited knowledge it's people like you that give horse racing industry a bad name. You are positively wrong on the information you left in your comment! 4 years and their done? Wrong! Only if they are no good on the track! Any and all competitive horse competitions come with different types of injury! PERIOD. They only need to be 3 if competing for the Triple Crown. Otherwise they continue on and can do Steeple Chases when they are 4. They can do this up to the age of 11. Always room to learn. Hope you have now.
Reintje is such a lovely girl! She stood beautifully for you, before going backwards. I have made a couple of comments lately, saying I miss Reintje and you must too and which horse are you going to be training the most now? I thought you said in a previous video that Reintje was sold and went to Canada, I am obviously confused and forgetful, or I had a dream, I will go with the dreaming lol Rain on the metal roof was music to my ears and along with watching you and Reintje, I felt all my muscles relaxing. Thank you ❣️
it was Elsje that went to Canada; she said she was riding Reintje more in that video...maybe that's where the confusion came in ? i agree; i often go to sleep dreaming of these glorious horses~
No riding when you were with child? lol , kidding only because a few days before my son was born I rode an elephant with my little daughter at the zoo. No baby elephant, an adult. It turned out to be helpful lol!
Reintje is my most favorite horse.
Reintje is a very smart horse!
I love the long neck on a Friesian horse. It's amazing how fullfiling a Friesian mare's life is. These girls have it all.
Reintje is such a gem 💎💙
I am going through theses forgotten videos. They are brand new to me! Love and prayers for continuing healing
Wonderful times with Yvonne and Reintje! 😊 So interesting to watch and learn!
Wow - the rain! I am in drought-stricken Southern California. Reintje and rain are a perfect mix.

Wow, and now Reintje is yours and mem of your first Friesian filly at your own stable! Just great!🥰

I'm sure many hours have been put into training
Would love to see how you train the lovely young fillies (1 and 2 years olds). Especially since they have never been ridden-how do you get them accustomed to wearing a saddle?
We start with the age of three years old. First we start lunging with a lunging girth and bridle. When they can do that well we try it with a saddle

How does a mare become a studbook mare?
By registering her as a foal in to the studbook. This is only possible if both her father and mother are also registered. 😄
Listerning, probably thinking , now whats this muppets on about.
Does she have a loose shoe?
No she has not. Due to her large steps, she sometimes touches te back of her front hooves with her back hooves 😄
❤️
