I love the episodes, however I feel they missed the opportunity to match Mecca vs Lorenzo. In my opinion, Lorenzo's death will create another void in the show. Lorenzo was sleaze to ask his daughter to stay in their business, however the family was totally dysfunctional with his son adding the pressure to sell his quota. Keeping the secret of killing Zeke was Lorenzo's ultimate goal, by any means necessary.
I hate season 2 because I hated how they integrated Monet and Zeke with him. It makes no sense. Telling him he 4 years younger and all that nonsense. Mecca by himself would be fire. But they ruin that for everybody.
No, Brayden was ordered to kill Lauren from Cane… he told Effie and Effie knew he wouldn’t do it that’s why she followed him and did it herself ( or at least she thought she did, lol). Remember Lauren has been a fed witness… that’s why when Cane found out, he wanted her dead. Hopefully Tariq realizes that just because he was willing to risk his freedom based his feelings for Lauren doesn’t mean everyone else was supposed to. She is a threat to everyone involved, not just Tariq. He not gone kill her… Effie and Brayden is legit all Tariq has in his corner atp. Cause Lauren can’t help him with shit. She has been a liability and still is one.
The situation with Tariq and Effie and Lauren will be the reason effie ends up with cane because Tariq is gonna have a issue with the situation so cane is about to have his moment he’s been waiting for it won’t be for long though lol
