@rtdg4419 LOL I forgot. I have one in the front room. Made a few people mad with this video I guess but hey. This is something I was guilty of myself. Thank you and Thanks for watching a have great holidays! -R
@@robertc.maxfieldiiphotography The first time I photographed a band it was a very new cover band. I saw some of the female "Groupies" photographing the band and thought that I could do a lot better. I had a basic knowledge of photography, I knew the exposure triangle and how it functioned, but it still was a long, and very steep, learning curve before I became even a little proficient. My photography, eventually, became good enough that it was something that bands wanted me to do for them. I, too, see a lot of photographs that I would personally never show anyone because they are nowhere near the standard I set for myself. It is not just a different style but it is about quality. As my concert photography improved I was a direct result of improving my technical understanding of the craft of photography. My current gear reflects my style and needs but I would never say that it was the best for anyone else, or even to suggest that others should use the same settings as I do. Talking to a few others the best I will do is suggest very broad recommendations for gear to consider within the circumstances.
@rtdg4419 It is a learning process no matter how long you do it. Some people do not realize exactly how difficult concert photography is. I think it is like wedding photography. I have a camera how hard can it be??? People go out without an understanding on the basics and try a complex task. Then you see a lot of people on forums that are clueless giving bad advice. In fact I got insulted this morning in a memo by someone that didn't like what I said. @rtdg4419 you are exactly right. It is a quality thing. I am not a complete expert and learn something new all the time. When it comes to gear I am very particular and know exactly what I want and know how I am going to use it. No guess work. Are my choices the right ones for everybody? No way. Is my style what everyone should be like? No but my assistant laughs because when I am working I have a gaggle of ducklings following me around from place to place. AND my work does not resemble modern art. That's my choice but if someones does and they like it and intend it to be that way then great. I think most people should learn photography first before trying any kind of genre. Thanks for watching and the comments! -R

@78Krzysiek Przykro mi słyszeć twoją złą opinię o Amerykanach. Problem ma charakter globalny i dotyka także Polaków! Dziękuję za obejrzenie! -R
