Thankyou for doing this video. I am only a small scale producer, (friends and neighbours) but I wanted to buy non chinese produced products and Lyson seemed a very attractive alternative.
After watching your videos on lyson...I went in I bought a lyson 30 frame today and 1500mm uncapping tank and tabletop steam uncapper. lyson doesnt have a big footprint here in the USA yet. I am looking forward to growing my kit with lyson. Thank you for your hard work, We pay attention!
Could you do a video on how you clean the honey room ? There's got to be some process of doing it quickly and efficiently. A question I've always had is, " what cleaning products are permitted in extraction area ?"
Well explained thanks looking over the workmanship makes all the difference. It’s all in the fine details again thank you, really drys the comb👍🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️🍯🍯🍯🍯
Hi Lawrence, I’ve just bought a 5x3 cabin. Would it be possible for you to do a video of yours just to get some tips for a small scale room? I see the conduit for cabling which is a good idea for cleaning and safety. Also a first aid kit. Really useful to see others. Thanks mate UTA
I’m a bit confused by all the extractors. Really looking for a 12 frame electric, ideally with swing cage capability. Konigen v Lyson and which Lyson ? Would be good for you to do a video of the main extraction brands and why you went Lyson v Konigen
Hey :), is there a difference between having the electric motor up the top or the bottom? Is one of these better than the other? Thanks for all your videos. It gives me good ideas :)
@@matthewshaw3470 Good tip on cleaning a creaming machine and what we do, is leave 10% creamed honey in the bottom after bottling/decanting and then go straight back in with 90% runny honey. Run it for a couple of weeks and let it set in the creamer. Then warm it back up to liquefy, jar and repeat.
Wow that is quite an investment even though , about £6k for shed that size . I can see some fliers in your video . How far away from your hives is your honey room , if you don’t mind me asking please?

Just looked this up now, and it has gone up 50% in price since you made this video in 2020. Insane what inflation does to us.

That was an excellent review. Thanks for your hands-on perspective.
Can you please tell me the actual Lyson model number?

Where can you get this from I can't find it anywhere?
Can you do a video on cleaning all this equipment bet it takes a long time. Is the equipment easy to clean after extraction cheers buddy.
No worries. Ill add it to the list. Extractor is easy to clean..Uncapping machine is a nightmare!
@@BlackMountainHoney I herd it was the extracters that were a nightmare thanks again
I would like to see one on cleaning a honey creaming machine

😮 wow thanks
Does OSR extract radially or do you need a tangential extractor for that?
As long as its not set in the combs and is sufficiently warm, it will extract radially
@@BlackMountainHoney Thanks!
been waiting for this one, excellent ! .
Hope it was worth the wait Hugh
