Killer trails.Killer riding.Killer video.Moved to Lake Tahoe in 1977.2 miles out on my 1976 RM 125 my master link popped off.Left my bike in the woods and walked home.Few days later i had a new link and walked back to my bike and went back to exploring the trail around Tahoe.Ive had a few flats bet was able to slowly get back home.
Forgot to mention but your riding ability appears to be better suited for something a step above an X Trainer, your probably already reaching a point where that model is holding you back, those are great trail bikes but have their limits when you get into harder or faster stuff.
i would have to agree at this point after putting a 100 hours on the bike, i feel like id benefit from finally going all out on a full enduro machine. It just the suspension really doesnt feel amazing on the x trainer going fast. I'm stuck between a TE300 and the 300RR
I always smile with this comment. The XTrainer can be ridden by the best enduro riders and they state it can keep up with any of the other bikes. It is the rider skill not so much the bike. Swap out the pipe and it is a 300rr. I have both an XTrainer and 300rr. The XTrainer is better in many ways.
@mikecarpenter4760 you need more than just a pipe to make it a 300rr. Once you start riding the x trainer fast it just doesnt hold up as well… i mean the x trainer is designed to go slow over technical terrain, and it does great at that. But once you start pushing it in some flow trail, the suspension doesn’t help. If you dont find this to be the case i dont think your pushing the bike
I have to say you did quite well riding with those guys, quad riders scare me because they don't pay attention and consider the possibility of a head on with other vehicles but you were right they were extremely lucky, I've been riding where head on's occur and the outcome was not so good.
I hate the quad guys. One of the places I ride. The single track is one way, and the quad guys get partially in and can’t make it and turn around. Always a close call with those goons
Subscribed! Nice to finally see some "real riders" ride some real shit at a real pace. I'm breaking into a sweat and salivating looking at those awesome trail's.About a month ago I had a head o-ring fail on my 250 RE 14 k from the truck, no idea were I was, new trail on the last weeks race loop.Buddy had an important social gathering that he was late for by two hours.Perfect
We ride betas for that exact reason we are able to delete the oil injection. We did that before even riding them they so far have been bulletproof. We are expert riders and beat on these things
Mines been rock solid for 100 hours now! Deleted oil injection at 2 hours and never looked back! Bikes taken a thrashing and never skipped a beat! Team BETA all the way!
@@AaronsEnduro personally i have no problem with mixing fuel. i honestly dont see why people are so opposed to it. for me taking 5 seconds to toss some oil in to a can is worth not having added liability on the trail. i can reliably put oil in a can 100% of the time meanwhile when it comes to the oil injection system i have to be concerned with it failing and that is more outside of my control than premix. it is added maintanence and added liability.
Bro , not gonna lie , since you've started with the Apollo series , you've come a long way. Your montage is so much a pleasure to watch and it's far more enjoyable. Good job !
Looks like a great area to ride. Got to get more riding on the island next spring. Did you do an oil injection delete? Noticing your engine light is on.
Some fantastic trails out on the island! Definitely worth while riding while you’re here! Yes i deleted the OI with 2 hours on the bike! Not risking an OI failure!
Ive seen too many failures in the beta facebook group, and its really easy to premix fuel and then garuntee never to blow an engine because of oil injection failure
Yes, that's true, there are stories of failures. Part of me thinks same kind of story were someone goes OTB and catches in the handguards and breaks their wrist.
Have you ever blown up your bike out on the trails? Let me hear about down below!
Yup. Fekkin nightmare

All you need to do is upgrade the suspension on the xtrainer, it's as capable as any other bike out there.
@@AaronsEnduro get the 300 race edition . Use a competent suspension guy get it sprung for your weight and tuned to your riding ability.

you're at the right place for some shenanigans on the trails! This is what its all about!!! Sorry to hear about the mechanical failure!

yea im good with oil injection, not worth it. its just one more thing to worry about.
But was it worth it if you blow your engine cuz u didn’t wanna mix fuel?

Great video...when the going gets tough, the X-Trainer gets going!
Absolutely! It excels in the gnar!
You look good on the bike for a “newbie”, standing up as much as possible is a real advantage 👍🏻
Trying my best haha, thanks m8
Sweet riding and trails !! Loved seeing the Canadian flag at 12:40. Im in Northern Ontario !
This is western BC! Canadas got some of the best riding!

Been a long journey, and we’re still just getting started!
Great looking ride. Love the banter!
Always a good time out with the boys!

I've had 2 300rr bikes with a total of almost 300 hours. Fingers crossed, still going strong.

Have rode Whiskey, Cook and Cumby, want to ride them more and also Shawnigan.
This video here makes me want to jump on a ferry in Port townsend or Port Angeles and say hi for a weekend and see some sights.
Do it! Then I’ll do the opposite and you show me around Washington!
Them trails look mega !
Some grade A stuff out there!!
Awesome trails. Where is that?
PNW Up in Canada!
Saw the Canadian flag. Western Canada or eastern?
West coast!
Any word on why the other Beta died? And root cause?
Power valve came apart. Had it fixed real quick once he found that was the issue
reallly hope to never blow a bike out in the boonies lol
this is the second bike i've had to help push out this year fall/winter lol So thankful it wasnt in the middle of some of the super tech sections
I call straight bs on the brakes. Beta brakes are excellent. There’s lots of aftermarket. There’s all anybody needs.
No rope with you ? 😢
Unfortunately we forgot it this time 🙃
My 1995 Yamaha is more reliable. lol. That’s 30 years old I go out and kick it once it fires right up. lol
Don’t make em like they used too!
Aaron, you need to say the outro faster!😂
😂 i try to keep it short and not waste peoples time! Now its almost like a game how fast i can say it lol
Fire video
I thought so too!
Bummer the bike blew..
