I'm a Chinese but for some reason I've been always addicted to India, for its culture diversity, arts, amazing contribution to human civilization, etc. I've been to many countries but I still remember my first time visiting India (Mumbai) on a biz trip 2 years ago, it was one of the most impressive experience that I will treasure for ever and I made friends with many Indian colleagues. I know India has some problems but I just want to echo what's been said in this video: which country doesn't? It's so sad that many of our people here in China always mock Indians like westerns even though we ourselves are suffering from dozens of our own problems. BTW, love India and happy Independent Day!

Thanks for this wonderful and accurate you tube Karolina. I am a Canadian who first came to India in 1970 and have spent 25 years of my life in India. Such a hospitable welcoming country. It is my favorite country. I have never smiled at an Indian who has not smiled back. In the west people will often get paranoid or resent it if you smile at them on the street. it is a land of 1.3 billion people and the country is doing pretty good for having so many people. The aspect touched on a little this lovely you tube is the spiritual nature of this wonderful land. True, it is often just a belief or blind rituals, but it is also more than that. True timeless spirituality underlies the texture, the many forms and the atmosphere of India. Once a person taps into it, it is everywhere. It is the most truly spiritual country on the planet. I don't mean blind religion or dogma, but a true transcendent universal spirituality. The Sanatana Dharma is one of the great gems on the planet. For those Indians who are sometimes embarrassed about the spirituality of India. Don't be. It is a real gift of which India should recognize and treasure. It transcends religions and differences. It is a land of intelligent and creative people. I could go on and on, but won't. Jai Hind.

You had to defend your people, I understand that. You fail, however, to realize why this lady felt the need to produce this video.

My family is Muslim but recieve shelter, food, job & respect by a high caste Hindu family. It was in India only where in one day you can taste delicacies from many faiths, today whenever I hear national anthem of India being played I stand with full respect. Read this to know about our past and achievements.
      Ancient India's Achievments:
      1. Ancient universities such as nalanda, takshashila, vikramshila, and much more over thousands of years ago.
2.Indians had concepts of calculus before west like infinite series for pi, power series for sine and cosine, inverse tangent series, and much more.
      3. Aryabhatta invented sine function.
      4. Bhaskara II gave modern definitions of sine and cosine.
      5. Sushruta was one of the pioneers in surgery over 2000 years ago.

      9. Binary number system by pingala.
      10. Ayurveda.
      11. Bhaskara I stated that at the highest point, the rate of change is zero.
      12. Varahamihira predicted water on Mars thousands of years ago.
      13. Sridharacharya invented the modern-day quadratic formula.
      14. Solutions to quadratics.
      Modern India's Achievements:

      21. Quantum Zeno effect
      22. Microwave Optics.
There are many more indian greats you should learn about. Examples: Srinivasa Ramanujan, Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, C.V. Raman and Raj Reddy (one of the pioneers in AI along with McCarthy).
Many of these were wrongfully attributed to foreigners or they teach you about this stuff, but never tell Indian origins. Bloodsucking leeches and their time is up .😂😂😂😂😂, subhuman Western Europeans and Americans.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, hope Anglo-Saxons die, they keep harassing South Asians, f*cking parasites.😂😂😂😂

Edit: Thanks for the nice replies and thumbs up everyone! While I've got your attention and since I'm dying to visit India - would any of you know anything about working there? I currently work two jobs in Australia as a nurses aide and a research assistant in clinical genetics. Is there anything I could do in India relating to this kind of research? People used to look up to India in the ancient times. Foreigners used to study in Nalanda university. I remember ancient Chinese called India “civilized” and “center of knowledge”. Scientists and mathematicians of the islamic golden age admired our work. Greeks and Romans also used to look up to us. Good old times. Anglo-Saxons and other Westerners are the reason that South Asians face discrimination worldwide. They ruined our image by portraying us as animal f*ckers, street sh*tters, unhygienic (India needs to work on hygiene, I admit, but man often it is over exaggerated), savages, r*pists, etc. West butchered our reputation. We think South Asians face discrimination because of skin color, but that is not the case. When you are brown, people think you are from South Asia, and South Asia has a bad image.

Many Italians and Middle Easterners have light brown to medium olive or brown skin. But, they don't face discrimination. It's all about image.

as a pakistani I have not hate towards indians in fact any human being it's a budding country and I will always love india! my parents get mad at me for standing up for indians, I don't care if anyone comes and tell me about abuse on Muslims in india, it's the countries problem and they will fix it! I believe every human being is beautiful! first I am a human then I have a religion and then I have nationality!

Don't mind but muslims in India are much safer than Pakistan(your own media says) All sects of Islam live in India with full religious freedom, even 3 talak system which is banned in Pakistan was practiced by Indian muslims till last month(now it is not allowed). Indian muslims get subsidy for Hajj too.
