Kid Friendly Hike near Phoenix, Arizona

Silly Mountain is a super fun hike for kids! Located near Apache Junction, in the Phoenix East Valley area, Silly Mountain offers a short, flat trail for strollers, or multiple route options around the mountain. You can get to the first peak in about half a mile. Hiking around the entire mountain is about 2.5 miles round trip. We opted for a 1.8 mile hike, with some pretty spectacular viewpoints. Highly recommend this spot in Phoenix!
