- Prime Debate : ഒരു രാജ്യം, ഒറ്റ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന് കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രിസഭ അംഗീകാരം നൽകി. ഒരു രാജ്യം ഒറ്റ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് സംവിധാനത്തേക്കുറിച്ച് മുന്‍ രാഷ്ട്രപതി രാംനാഥ് കോവിന്ദ് സമര്‍പ്പിച്ച റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടാണ് കേന്ദ്ര മന്ത്രിസഭായോഗം അംഗീകരിച്ചത്. ഇതോടെ വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന പാർലമെന്റിന്റെ ശൈത്യകാല സമ്മേളനത്തില്‍ ഇത് സംബന്ധിച്ച കരട് ബില്‍ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചേക്കുമെന്നാണ് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വൃത്തങ്ങള്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നത്.

According to sources, the ‘one nation, one election’ Bill is likely to be introduced in the upcoming winter session of Parliament.
The development came after a high-level panel headed by former president Ram Nath Kovind approved the proposal.
