That is correct. Sorry for not making that clear in the video. "Warm up engine for 2-3 minutes. Place engine on level surface. Remove dipstick and wipe oil. Replace dipstick but do not screw in threads. Remove dipstick and check level. It should be between the two lines - not above it.

you're actually supposed to check the oil with the dipstick NOT screwed in...just sitting on top....according to the OWNERS MANUAL
