The bike was probably ridden really hard and could use a rebuild but it was most likely very cold too, any other fresh kawi I’ve seen starts first kick, Kawasaki is known for reliability if you take care of them
trASH Main , you are correct! This bike is brand new, maybe 8 easy hours on it . Was in a garage with below freezing temperatures, bike starts up 1-2 kicks now ! Warmer temps.

Do you remember what you did to the forks and rear springs for a bigger rider?
I moved the bars to the forward mounts, set the shock sag and had KPS set up the front suspension

I got a 2018 kx250f with 23 hours and it starts first kick easly
that bike is clapped you won’t have the same issue I️ have a 2017 and it starts in 3 kicks max
