Yes he was in the Swedish Idol show. Then he joined H.E.A.T as there leadsinger. Got cancer and quit the band and after recovery from that started doing this covers and now the new singer in Skid row
One thing that bothers me, at the end he goes "Yay, aye aye yay... Hallowed be thy name". In the original it's "Yay, aye aye yeah... Hallowed be thy name". He does that earlier in the song and I noticed it in one of the Skid Row songs as well. It changes the sound and the feel when you end a phrase with Yay instead of Yeah and when it's a song that I've heard for 30 or 40 years, it's kind of annoying. But he's a great singer and he seems to have a great personality as well. I'm very excited about the new Skid Row album.
wow talk about nit picking.. You have to also understand he's Swedish, so there will be some dialect/accents there.. But he's ripping it up w/ Skid Row in the concert video's I've seen.. He tore the house down at M-3 last night
@@ryant3600 Actually, it's really not. I first noticed it on the intro when I listened to this cover on my own. "The sands of time for me are running low... running loooooow... ooooooooooh... yeeeaaaaaaaaah!" I've sang along to this part a thousand times. There's big difference between "running low yeah" and "running low YAY!" I mean, come on. And I don't think it's because he is Swedish. He has a firm command of the English language. And listen to what he's doing with Skid Row. The detail, the inflections, the phrasing, the tonality. Those songs don't sound so close to the original recordings by accident. So I find it strange that he overlooks these passages where he's holding a note and singing the wrong word for quite some time. If someone was a great guitar player and they covered Sweet Child O' Mine and changed the last two notes of that iconic guitar intro, would it be nit picking to point out that doesn't sound right? Again, he's a great singer. I'm on board and I dig him. I even bought the 3rd H.E.A.T album Into The Great Unknown after I researched him a month ago. I love that album! There's nothing wrong with pointing out someone's mistakes without being mean spirited about it. I'm not saying he's a bad singer. But if you're going to do a cover, do it right.
Erik Gronwall is one of my favorite singers. He has such a beautiful voice and is truly a nice person! 💗

yes and he did Run to the Hills on Swedish Idol as well.
The spirit of Asgard passing through the eons. Sometimes in the front, sometimes from the farthest back, from within the Great Darkness.
Yes! Thanks for reacting to Erik Grönwall! He's amazing!
No problem!! - Just saw 18 and life today with him - he was very good!

Yes, the best of his covers. But he’s still not ready with all his retirement after his bone-transplants when he did “Headless Cross”.🎶❤️🔥🎶❤️🔥
