I would stay up until 1AM as a kid waiting for my Dad to get home from his 2nd job and he would stay up with me and play this for an hour or two before bed. Man could’ve only had a few hours of sleep before his first job but he would do it almost every night.
"YOU FAIL". Lol that announcer was so good in this game. I even nowadays replicate him on some occasions (at work mostly) but people don't know where it's from haha. That intro takes me back, wow... The mode with grabbing the balloons is also a lot of fun imo. Pinball was okay at the start. But some levels are almost torture like, my least favorite mode. I loved this game so much playing with Family and friends. We tried beating the story mode together and i think my cousin and me succeeded one time. Hopefully may get my hands on a copy sometime again!
Fun fact: You can play like 90% of this game in Spyro 3. Just activate the Crash Bash Demo and activate the cheat menu in the main menu and you can play from Jungle Bash to Ring Ding. Game makes even more fun when you play the demo version with 4 players because you can play like the crystal challenges with 4 players and it's just hilarious, player 1 gets the disadvantage while the other players are okay and when player 1 fails the minigame goes on and when another player wins it just says "you win" and it resets until player 1 wins. Such a shame that the cheat menu isn't present in the final game (unless you have a first pressing which still had the cheat menu).

It does that until player 1 wins (or player 2 when you play co-op). You can play this demo with the cheat menu on every original spyro 3 copy. Emulated or not. Even Spyro 3 on the ps3 store has the crash bash demo with the cheat menu. Only bad thing is that some emulators have the pause menu invisible and you can't see where you are
I used to convince my late older brother to play this with me. Got decently far (some medieval games) but yeah, it gets stupid hard. I think the dash/circle racing games were the toughest. I still think about playing it these days.

Tiny was my favorite as a kid and still is today 😁 He just looks badass
