    Thanks so much. I live in West Down and got married in St Calixtus. I am working in the Gulf right now and miss home very much, but for 3:12 I was back there on a Sunday morning :) Thanks again.

    8-2-3 is the weight of the tenor, or the biggest bell in the ring. It can be transposed as 8cwt, 2 quarters and 3 pounds, or 433kg in modern weight (Approx 51kg per cwt)
    The woman calling is swapping bells positions, so "one-three" means bells 1 and 3 swap their positiions so the 3 rings before the 1.
    This was a slightly different style of ringing for me, perhaps not as exciting as changeringing, but very interesting indeed :)

    For an Tyrolean something exciting but for you it is a normal thing... ^^
    What does the women is calling? What does 8-2-3 means?
