Ever since I started feeding the birds when my daughter brought home a how to bird feed her from Girl Scouts I've noticed the grackle around . They are crazy in the amazing range of sounds they make and they're such beautiful birds. I never thought in my older age I would be a birdwatcher but I've come to respect these creatures more and more and their unique differences & little quirks. I did notice the other day I thought they were squawking because they were mad I didn't put the feet out early enough but when I got outside I noticed a blue jay in the feeder so I see there some turf rivalries too😊 beautiful birds
I'm glad you still feed the grackles. So many bird watchers dislike them because they are an aggressive species that will run off more docile species. I enjoy my grackles and Jays too ❤
I TOTALLY agree !!! 😊😊 Beautiful birds, interesting, intelligent, whimsical birds. Lots of fun to see them come for the peanuts in our feeder. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE GRACKLES❤
I miss them. Decades ago, they came to my area but no more. Once I was sleeping. I heard a grackle clucking out in my apple tree, woke me up. So funny 😂
