I recently just got into Silent Planet, and was absolutely blown away by their guitar work specifically. Dude shreds, and has such melodic & technical riffs. I bought 2 of their tab books off sheethappens and have been loving every second of it. Cheers!
@@zac3126 I've just ordered a Balaguer, went totally the opposite way in the end though - Woodman with the deluxe guard, 26.5" scale. Still kept the Evertune though
Really enjoying these guitar chats bro! Maybe in future vids you could experiment with some post production with zooms ins and outs and B-roll shots of the guitar itself to get a more in depth look at the instrument? Would make ur vids stand out from the crowd even more.
Makes me feel better hes doing 6+ a high. I do that because I wrote everything on a 6 lol but I still use the top strings for leads. But improvisation? Messes me up entirely lol. If I want to solo I have to put it back in standard 7 😂
Haven't tried many yet, but the ML Soundlab's Djent pack is really good, and versatile, even for cleans or crunch not just high gain. Also they have "pre mixed" IRs within that pack with eq and post processing already printed on the IR
Aside from being a phenomenal artist, Mitch is such a cool, down-to-earth guy
all of the dudes in planet are some of the kindest dudes in the scene!
i need a silent planet x loathe x thornhill tour in the states asap. i will faint

11:54 who elses Heart stopped?
?
@@a1paradox19 one of the guitars fell.
Insanely informative. This is what happens when you have a great interviewer asking great questions and an amazing artist answering them.
28.5" Espada with Evertune? That's my dream spec right there 🔥
Side note, the guitar at 11:53 gave me a heart attack
@@KaiDown BRO I DIDNT EVEN PICK THAT UP HAHAHAHAHAH
I got a select custom from balaguer with the 28.5 and evertune as well, drop g with 10-62's and finally no flub, such a good set up

Damn, those Balaguer Guitars are awesome. i hope they will find more retailers in Europe.
Balaguer are direct-to-consumer since it’s a semi-custom shop.
@@CrzyWzrd4L you can find a list of dealers on the Balaguer homepage. All I am asking is that balaguer should find one in the EU.
@@CrzyWzrd4Lthey don’t only do semi customs lol
Those Balaguer's are nice. I live a couple hours away from the company headquarters. I may need to check them out soon.
wow this dude is a legend
The string source does that taper there as well for anyone who needs that info.
I’d die to get Mitch’s Helix patches 😳😩😂
Same🥲
I love Balaguer. Based my 7-string build after an Espada but would love to own an actual one. Sad I missed Silent Planet when they came through Brissy

Great insight and discussion! 🤘🦖
Supersick baritones. I myself have a schecter hellraiser 30 inch. Love that guitar
Ordered a 28.5” Growler in April brus, keen for it
I'd love to play in Australia.
have a Balaguer, it's great
Could you maybe do 1 question on their amps/modelers? I've been trying to figure out what Erra uses live

Interview: Silent planet
Keyan: Thornhill Hoddie
Which Bareknuckle HSP90s does he have in the first guitar? Supermassive, Stockholm or warpig?
Seconded?
Guitar still has that p90 twang so that rules out the pig90 so it's either the Stockholm or supermassive so for my guess it'll be the Stockholm
i just want someone to look at me the way mitch looks at his guitars
Anyone know if those are supermassives or stockholms for the pickups?
Need some suggestions on great cab irs. Please make some suggestions on your top 5 Cab IR PACKS.

First!!!!!! Love you Keyan!
Shout out to stringjoy. They are the best
stringjoy are da best
Drop E on a 6 string 😳
Scale length is most important, it’s a 28.5 inch guitar
Hello Mitch… Silent Planet is the best band!!!!
String joy, question answered I have always been curious what kind of strings to get for a 27-28.5 baritone
StringJoy, LaBella, String Source, Kalium and Winspear should all fit long-scale guitars
You can’t make your guitar like that on Balaguers online configure
